War Hero or War Criminal, Who Decides?

Being half Japanese does not make you right or reasonable. Those who are commited to violence can always find a thousand reasons to kll. The truth is, the United States of Anerica has killed and is kiiling more people than all of the socall terrorits groups, of all times, combined.

Of course, I am not half Japanese, so can decide, based on verifiable facts who the real killers in the world are. Is that not a different idea!

It seems throughout humans evolution and history there has always been war. People have always killed to conquer or defend their nation or land. A nation will justify the act of war and portray a figure as a hero for their people to be inspired by. It is a way to create hope for a nation during a period of destruction and turmoil. The only ways to change this is to educate people that war only creates fear and separation and never love and unity like Deepak Chopra so eloquently says.

I read many of your books and I deeply respect your work and view of the world.

But I am sure that we as a collective consciousness did not manifest all the war and crisis.

It is all part of a larger agenda.

I sincerely believe that the application of moral relativism to the theater of war is extremely dangerous. The inability to understand the difference between various forms of violence undermines the capacity to differentiate between tyrants, thugs and murderers intent on plunging the world into a nightmare and those who must use violence to stop them. War is necessary to defeat evil. WWII is a glaring example of it, a message that needs repeating in English, Hindi, Chinese, German or Japanese.

We are like abused children who only feel comfortable when we're in pain. But that doesn't mean we deserve pain. So, your last statement, to me, was cruel and misdleading.

I totally agree with what your saying, but a think maybe you mis-interpreted the line. He actually said "either way, WE will get what WE deserve" I agree that we all deserve good to a point, I think deepak would probably say we always get what we deserve and that there really is no good or bad, just experience for the purpose of evolution.

It's so good to see you on YouTube. I had no idea! Of course we can get rid of our need for "war heroes". I think we will eventually see the end of that archetype, eventually. Maybe not in this lifetime. Despite the outspoken warmongers, there is a huge undercurrent of love and hope...people that can truly see themselves in others. It's amazing. It may seem like a slow shift now, but I think it's much faster than it appears to be. Namaste.

David Icke will tell you that only love will change things. He's right about that. But he only says it after he's spent hours spewing messages of fear, anger, distrust, etc. He claims that it's only a very small group of people who are in control, yet he then includes all governments, anybody who ever knew anybody, Anybody who ever wears orange is an insider...right? Your comments bring to mind Einstein and his theory of relativity - even as time is relative to the observer, so is every other human experience. Those our society calls war heroes will always have those that label the same people war criminals. History is written by the conquerer, and like all other human experience, is tainted by human frailties, both in the faulty human memory, and the selection of what facts are written down. If the soldiers knew the true reasons for their killing eachother, they would probably stop..keep spreading the truth.
