I have found Abraham-Hicks films insightful and inspiring. I found the comment at the end offensive. It is not so funny from the viewpoint of the person being 'used for data and sex'.
Thoughts don't lead to happiness, her advice is more about a change in attitude, a way to not identify so much with inner negativity, but the darkness is still there and it shouldn't be. Here are the 4 REAL keys to happiness:

why do women always cut esther off and but in while she is talking?! Don't they understand that if they just kept quiet just maybe their question will get answered and they will hear what they need to hear! (I must admit I used to be the same)
@ashams22 Cutting people off when they're speaking is a female problem, also waiting for 10 seconds after a person has paused or stopped speaking is a challenge. It may be a residual affect of not having a voice in society. I've taken some great classes for women CMSW where these things are pointed out and are taught to women. It makes women (us) much better listeners, friends and partners. :)
This is just what I wanted to know, because I also want to keep my friends. I want to stay happy and not to be affected by their negative thinking. Moreover, I want to uplift them in order to help them, so I can still feel good!
