In America there was great support for Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini in the 1920s and 1930's. The progressive's aka Democrats had to put some distance from fascism and communism when war broke out. FDR people who celebrating Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin. So the liberals have been hard at work on revisionist history, to give the appearance that Nazi's were Right Wing.
