  • that was pretty good

  • Okay, if you're just finding this, please ignore the teen angst below. I did not create it, only shared it because it is an amazing piece. It's not hard to find - hundreds of folks have shared it. The amount of patience it took to do this hand-crafted piece is humbling. Enjoy!

  • so...awesome.

    :D I LOVE IT! :D It's VERY creative, I love it. :)

  • i dont dislike the video..I DISLIKE YOU!!

  • @XStainedColorsX Try to be more specific. Me? NewWaraNingyo? gladfelter17? All of us (most likely).

  • Pretty impressive. Kind of wierd though.

  • This is stolen...why don't you go make your own animation, instead of stealing them from other people?

  • @gladfelter17 then whoever really made this should keep their hand out of the shot to make it look better

  • @BaronoftheBrick This is amazing, and their hand in the shot doesn't change anything. Watch as the drawings around him changes, and his hand doesn't appare to move at all. Just pure amazing.

  • @gladfelter17 who did he/she steal from?

  • @RatedNatty From kristoferstrom

  • @RatedNatty Steal? Again, share. There's a button for it. Try it. If you have a website or a blog, it can make it more interesting.

  • @gladfelter17 There's a difference between stealing an re-posting. I have nowhere said I did it and, had you bothered to watch it for just a few more seconds you'd have see that someone else's URL is in the video; they didn't create it either. Look below the video: "Uploaded by joestump85 on Aug 13, 2007." It's called sharing. I've created over forty videos that are posted on several sites with some used in a college's curriculum. Oh, and I've seen your seven. Uhh, yeah.

  • @gladfelter17 I've seen the seven you did. Keep working at it. Your persistence will be rewarded. I've done animation in the past on an Oxberry stand with 16mm film - yeah, back in the stone age. Try that sometime and then let me know how it went for you. I don't have the patience, that's why part of my living is made doing "regular" videos. Good luck with yours.

  • @gladfelter17 Notice, the "Share" button. Those of us who make a living from video hope people use it so that we have a chance of getting more work when people see ours. Notice the "Uploaded by ... " text below the video, which says who uploaded it in the first place. Sharing is nice. Your mom taught you that, or at least tried to. Keep working on your seven little pieces, too. Practice makes perfect.

  • 1:12 lol

  • awesome! except the ending disgusts me... oh, and pick a song EVERYONE knows and likes...

  • constructive critism only ..keep your ignorance to yourself, you sound stupid

  • not even the full thing and its not even his

  • @me06182 No, it's not mine, nor did I claim it was. Neither did the person who uploaded it or the person whose URL is plastered all over it. Again, it's called sharing. It's a good thing for those of us whose career is in media. That's why there's a "share" button. It's a big part of helping people's work go viral and make a living.

  • @me06182 It's called a Share button. I never claimed it was mine. You might notice that "Uploaded by ..." text below it. That would tell you where it came from. Try to read a little closer before going troll.

  • @me06182 It's called sharing. Notice the button. If you like it, you should share it too so that the artist gets more recognition, meaning more work, meaning he can pay the bills and keep doing things like this.

  • trippy

  • wicked cool!

  • Wow that was so cool! UH-mazing!! 8D

I like the part when he pulls the lines, and when he transforms pictures part by part and...

  • that last part was nasty but amazing

  • omg how long did that take u :O?

  • @CSSBoyScout Again, I didn't create it, only shared it because, as someone who's done animation, doing it in this medium is amazing.

  • @CSSBoyScout Didn't create it, only shared it. Not enough patience to do animation. The animators I've met are amazing. It's tedious work. REALLY tedious, especially when it's done by hand like this one.

  • music?

  • @sunnychivas Sorry for the long wait in replying - didn't know there were this many. I believe the artist created it himself. I looked but couldn't find it.

  • The one who did it is Christopher Strom. That's Amazing

  • @bicherc Thank you. Someone who understands sharing and promoting another artist's work.

  • that's cool, but some of those creatures look creepy, like chupacabre.

  • how he does ?

  • WOOOOW!

  • haha. awesome!! :]

i like the egg at the end. lol

  • did u make this?

  • @moviemaniac97 No, I'm not that talented. I do "regular" video in my business for other businesses. I used to do animation, but found it too tedious - just don't have the patience. Glad you like it. It's one of my favorites.

  • @moviemaniac97 I wish. No, only shared it so that other people could admire the artist's work. Glad you liked it.

  • thats amazing...

  • dangggg...i still can't get over how freaking awesome this is...

  • very nice

  • You are very talented! Awesome work!

Btw, I also did a white board animation myself. It's my first attempt at white board animation, so if you'd like to check it out, please tell me what you think. Thank you.

    watch?v=5ndjfdCIdcg

  • @inksplatterprods Very good, especially for a first attempt! Some nice ideas in there. @gladfelter17 could take some lessons from you, for sure.

  • nice that was sick. i was like "Wow"

  • wow unbelivible! i think thats ONE of the best stop motion whiteboard animations iv ever seen!

  • @NotFred911 I agree. I was blown away when I saw it, that's why I had to share it. The guy is super talented.

  • wow.

  • your drawings are so clean&neat.

    are you a graphic designer/illustrator ?

  • This is not his by the way.

  • @Schvetlana Yes, thank you. It's in a playlist, not "My Videos." It was a share and I have never taken credit for it.

  • @saeho90 It's not my work. I wish it was, but I only shared it. Yes, I do some graphic design, but mostly publication work. Glad you liked it. Share it with others so that the artist gets more cred.

  • cool!

  • wow, very nice drawings and even better animation :) how long did it take you?

  • @Yoho2934 Thanks, but it's not mine. I only shared it in my favorites. The artist is amazing. It must have taken months to do this, and I think he created the music, too.

  • love it

  • That is indeed quite impressive!

  • I like how some fags are saying it's fake.

It's not. Why would it be fake?

It's stop animation, and he is really clever about it.

  • @Whistt Yes, the artist is VERY clever. He's done a few others. Share them, too, so that he can make a living and keep creating.

  • cool

  • wow its not fake but not good notice how nbothing moves as he draws which proves stop animation like Robot Chicken...

  • u suck... |-( this is not fake!!!

  • wow. amazing right here.

  • this....is AWESOME!

  • OMG THE BEST EVER!!

  • what do you need to be able to do this?

  • camera, whiteboard, and marker,

    LOTS OF PATIENCE

  • @BusterKunScareCrow Any video camera can do it. I've tried my hand at it and my freehand drawing isn't good enough. The man who created this is very, very good. It probably took him quite a while to do this. Couldn't help but share.

  • AMAZING

  • YOU COPYED THIS FROM:

    pen+white board=endless possibilities!

  • @pokemon164 Copied? No, I used the Share button, like millions of other folks who want others to see something amazing. It's in my Favorites, not the "My Videos" list and, yes, endless possibilities.

  • cooooooooool

  • thats amazing... Take a look at mine! im a beginner tho, so be warned.. lol

  • @monkeyontherun12 No, it's good. That you wrote it, shot it, played it, sync'd it, edited it, etc., is pretty impressive. The only thing I'd say is find a better mic for the camera. It's nice music and it's getting cheated a bit by what seems to be the mic on the camcorder. Very nice. Keep it up. Anything new? (And, I only shared it because it was so amazing. I wish my drawing skills were that good.)

  • AWESSOMMEEE

  • thats awesome! what program did u use

  • @Spydero Have no idea what he used, but a decent video camera, tripod and a way to suspend the camera over a whiteboard so that it's perpendicular to it is what it takes. Lighting is pretty tricky, too, and needs to come from a really soft source, like a softbox. Editing can be done in just about any program (Premier Elements, Corel Video, etc.) but, be warned, it's pretty tedious. You're capturing maybe ten frames out of 100 or 500. It takes HUGE amounts of patience.
