It says in Exodus 14 that Pharaoh too drowned. This part of Exodus happened in the gulf of Aqaba, they have found chariot wheels dating back to that Pharaoh's dynasty. In Exodus 14 God says to Moses in verse 4 ".....I will win glory for myself at the expense of Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will realize at last, that I am Adonai." It also says in 14:13 "...today you have seen the Egyptains, but you will never see them again!" This suggests they who persued Israel drowned in Aqaba.
The Hyksos were probably the Haberu's (ancient Egyptian name for Hyksos) the Haberu's were probably the Hebrews, a lot of Egyptologists are coming to this conclusion also..
@TheNWOtruth Which ones? I've never heard of them. Also, the Egyptians did not call "Haberu's", they called them "heqa khasewet", which meant "Foreign Rulers". I do not know where you're getting your info from, but it's incorrect.
@TheNWOtruth None of the ones I know of accept that stance. Who has claimed it? You cannot claim experts whom you will not reveal. Otherwise I could say, "Experts agree with me that air is actually killing life." You made the claim-you have to back it up. Josephus made that claim nearly 2,000 years ago, but it been shown that he was wrong. I am unaware of any Egyptologist today who still believe Hyksos=Hebrews and you haven't been forthcoming in revealing them.
@TheNWOtruth Josephus did not 'live in that time" he lived thousands of years after. in addition, they didn't have the same knowledge of the era that we do now-they lacked both the archeological techniques nor did they know how to read Egyptian Hieroglyphics. furthermore, living closer to a time period does not necessarily mean you'll understand it better, especially if you're trying to validate religious belief rather than seeking the actual truth.
@travisanderson77 he lived closer to it than us.. what makes this society so damn arrogant..? and who said that hieroglyphics couldn't be read anymore (at that time)? are you aware of coptic? those people speak practically ancient egyptian.. (evolving of a language? and thus scripture perhaps?) ever wondered how everything is relative? who says "we" (meaning this current generation) is right about everything?
@TheNWOtruth Wow...really? Okay, where to start... Heiroglyphics were unreadable in his time, though many claimed to be able to read them, they were finnaly translated by Jean-François Champollion in 1822 after painstaking work with the Rosetta Stone, found by Napoleon's men in Egypt. Furthermore, Coptic is not "practically" the written system. We were clueless on how Hieroglyphics were read even though we knew Coptic. This is why we needed the Rosetta Stone and a 3rd language.
@TheNWOtruth And on your last point-I agree, we're not "right" about everything. But don't you see the problem with your argument? To claim that it is more valid because it is more recent (which I never claimed) is as flawed as to say it is more valid because he lived closer to that time (which is also invalid). In his time, no one knew how to read the old texts made in Hieroglyphics-even though they could read Coptic.
@travisanderson77 Look, it's pretty obvious that you don't know what you're talking about. Please don't embarrass yourself further, I have corrected you on every point and will continue to do so as long as you attempt to prove me wrong without knowing very much on the topic. I have nothing against discussing it, but please know what you're talking about beforehand. You certainly know more than me on some things, but on Egyptian History, you do not.
@travisanderson77 josephus lived around 37 to 100 ad.. cleopatra died in 30 bc, she could read hieroglyphs as well as speak ancient egyptian.. dont know what i am talking about? at least im not an insuffrable know-it-all.. funny how you say that i made a fact, when i was just saying something, but it's ok with me, egyptology apart from diggings is mostly theoretical, and in theory everything is possible until you prove the contrary, i am just happy that i am a free spirit..:)
@TheNWOtruth I'm not an insufferable know it all just because you are wrong and I am right. You probably know a lot of things I don't, and vice versa, but on this topic-you are fighting an uphill battle with me. I have studied their history since I was a child, for over 20 years now in fact. There are a lot of things I don't know, but on this topic, I know quite a bit more than you-and that is the result of years of research and study.
@TheNWOtruth Cleopatra-a Roman by blood who had no desire, time or valid reason to learn to read the highly complex Hieroglyphics that were full understood only in the domain of Scholars, did not read Egyptian Hieroglyphics. It is also highly unlikely that she could speak the language with any fluency. She had, as did all Roman rulers of Egypt, scribes who would translate all relevant texts into Latin, and translators that would have been among her courtiers.
Do @phoenician7 know anything about all the postings on YouTube about King Tut Unwrapped (Discovery Channel) showed the DNA of King Tut's mother. (D13S317 =12, D7S820 = 10, D2S1338 = 16, D21S11 = 29, D16S539 = 8, D18S51 = 19. These Markers Are African. The information that DNA Tribes published came from the DISCOVERY CHANNEL.
These are the 8 LOCI that people like @phoenician7 don't want you to see. These were taken For the Amarna mummy article. The 8 LOCI Haplotype used by DNAtribes for King Tut and his family are (D13S317, D7S820, D2S1338, D21S11, D16S539, D18S51, CSF1PO, FGA). We know the values of these polymorphic microsatellites and anybody can compare and match these to a pop db (eg., DNAtribes lets on that both D18S51=19 and D21S11=34 are African specific markers by frequency).
This is not the dead body of PHAROAH found in RED SEA. It is a naturally preserved body in a sand pit in Egypt. Check Egyptologist Bob Brier's (a.k.a Mr Mummy) video about mummification and you will see this guy at 11:48 in, Bob Brier, "Mummification: Resurrection of a Lost Art"
lol that's not a pharoah he's just some random Egyptian man who was buried in a grave pit. He was preserved from hot sands, not from water. Actually the lack of water is what preserved him so well. :)
I am a Jew and according to our Torah Pharaoh was at Slnpolion Barc five feet as the Torah says to her and half and he did not die at sea are continued to be the king of what city ... As the Torah says the verse that Pharaoh said God is righteous and the wicked and I like that I know and I remember the prophet Jonah came Lhzair it
Neither the Bible nor the Qur'an name the Pharaoh who was alive at the time of the Exodus. Chaces are, when Pharaoh didn't return to Egypt, the one who took up power after him erased hisname from memory (all the buildings, etc.), a was common for the Pharaoh's t take credit for the achivements of their predecessors. -But THIS is no Pharaoh's mummy, in all likelihood. As for Ramses II, he lived almost 200 years after the Bible says Moses lived. So the search goes on.
As other have said; this is nothing to do with Pharaoh or the mythical Exodus. It was found in southern Egypt 40 KM south of Luxor with 3 other bodies. It dates from 3400 BC, that is 2000 years BEFORE the supposed Exodus.
Religious people will lie to a great degree in the hopes of making their beliefs a reality. That is not even the Pharoah's body. This is an entirely different person!
This Mummy is a commoner, nicknamed "Ginger", who was buried with is possessions sometime in the I or II dynasty-which predates the Exodus by around 1,500 years, which is believed to have taken place either in the XVIII or XIX dynasties, but before the reign of Merenptah, where we find the first mention in history of the lands inhabited by the Hebrews. All Pharoahs in the XIX and preceding XVIII are accounted for-none died by drowning.
@travisanderson77 You are so smug and speak as if you know something about Egyptian history. I will school you instead and I am just a commoner. The Exodus of the Hyksos, the Shepard Kings of Egypt from 1800BC to about 1200BC, who spoke Aramiac and were Semites, IS the Exodus of the Bible. The Hebrews of the Bible are the Hyksos. Yes I know how rather politically and religiously inconvenient that fact is. FACT not biblical embellishments.
@MightyZarkon Seriously? You're WAY off. There is no evidence that the Hyksos spoke Aramic in particular and in fact the Hyksos spoke many Semitic languages. I looked into your view on the matter and I found that it derives from a revisionist Rastafarian view on the matter which has NO basis on evidence form the time period. You want to school me with revisionist pseudo Archeology? Give me a break, religiously biased theories are a dime a dozen.
@travisanderson77 You are such a bastard and you know it- I will prove it for your other viewers. You didn't check into anything, if you did then you would be quoting Egyptian historian Manetho, not quoting some ridiculous revisionist sect like the Rastas. You try to disjoin the Jews and the Hyksos but the timelines, the blood/DNA tests, the tombs, the Hyksos cities like Avaris and Tanis all bear the truth-that the Jews were never slaves and that they were known as Shepherd Kings
@MightyZarkon First of all, way to lower the standards of the debate by being the first to call me a name, second-Manetho did indeed make the argument, but Jospehus simply copied it, and while Manetho is a good source of the reigns of the Pharaohs, Egyptologists do not accept all of what he said at face value, and the statement of the Hyksos being Hebrews was more political than archeological-again, something you would know if you knew what you were talking about.
@MightyZarkon To further prove you don't know what you're talking about, Tanis wasn't even founded when the Hyksos ruled Egypt. Avaris, true-was their capital during the 15th dynasty, but Tanis was founded in the late 20th dynasty-long after the Hyksos were driven out. In regards to the DNA tests, not only do pretty much all experts reject what you say, but you claim that Jews and Hyksos were the same. You can't even keep the terms right-Jews are not necessarily Hebrews.
@MightyZarkon While it is true that the Hykosos ruled Lower Egypt in the time you mentioned-they were hardly enslaved and it was only after a great struggle that was waged by the Theban Rulers, Seqenenre Tao II, Kamose and finally, Ahmose who drove them out and established both the 18th Dynasty and the Egyptian New Kingdoms. YOU have no idea what you're talking about-I however do.
@travisanderson77 They didn't rule lower Egypt, they ruled the North. I thought you said you know something? If I have to keep correcting what you think you know its just going to lead to more embarrassment for you but go ahead. Did you bother to check out Avaris yet? Now run along and play nice little boy.
@MightyZarkon And....you just lost the debate. You see, "Lower Egypt" is not a geographic designation (otherwise I would have said "Southern"). "Lower Egypt" was a political entity referring in fact to the NORTHERN part of the country-which the Hyksos ruled, namely the Delta. If you didn't know that the Egyptians called the Northern part of their country "Lower" because of the river flow, then you certainly don't know much do you? That's Ancient Egypt 101.
@travisanderson77 It's another falsification by Jews to obfuscate their true history which is they were the Hyksos barbarian invaders, a Semite blooded group of Aramaic speaking Nomads that invaded Egypt around 1800BC and took over everything. They were not SLAVES! These Hyksos still inhabited the Nile Delta region on the East side after being kicked out by the Egyptians who were NOT Semites. Avaris and Tanis were Hyksos cities. King Solomon and David ruled from the Nile Delta.
@awseomegirl90 I have studied ancient Egyptian pharaohs in school for months and this looks just right for a body that was stuck in the Red Sea for 8,000 years. Anyway why at all would this be fake???
ok, to those saying that Pharaoh drowned while chasing the Israelites, read the bible a little closer, he never set foot in the sea. He sent his army in after them and watched from the shore.
thats not pharaoh that probably one of his thousnads of guards who tried to kill the hebrews when god closed back the red sea over while his guards were trying to cross.. and they drowned to death!
This is not a Pharaoh, it is a commoner. The position in which the body was found is that of commoners who were too poor to have a tomb cut out. Ironically, being buried in the sand provided better preservation than the actual mummification process used on Royalty. Pharaohs were almost always laying down, with both arms crossed over their chests, and rarely-with their arms at their sides-but they were always facing up, and being laid to rest in a Sarcophagus.
@travisanderson77 exactly. They had to bury a body in rameses grave so they took one of an elderly man to replace it.Theres a long explanation of this entire situation somewhere on the net.Ive read it in its entirety. It makes perfect sense.Tut is the son of rameses and if you read into the discovery of his being youll find that they have done extensive research as to the reason of his death.Theres many hypothesis yet no one agrees as to how he died.He died on passover by the angel of death.
@mastersduhgree The comment you replied to was actually meant for another video. This body is not that of Ramses II (my computer is slow and it takes forever to load videos) which is why I removed the comment you replied to. This body is that of a commoner and it was found in a shallow grave. Ramses II was found in a tomb of a minor official along with several other Pharaohs at Deir el-Bahri, a Temple built by Hatshepsut.
@travisanderson77 I meant to respond to another video similar to this one (that also claimed Firouns body was found in near a Sea (they can't decide which one it even was). Because my internet connection is between neutral and reverse at times, I responded thinking this was the video that actually had the Mummy of Firoun (Ramses II) since I had already seen the video and didn't want to be distracted by it as I typed. So I will say again, this is neither Firoun nor any other Pharaoh.
@travisanderson77 Ok...right on sir.Yes...its very interesting as to the death of tut and that of rameses.I look forward to informative discussions concerning egyptions during that time period..
@travisanderson77 Dont you understand? Pharoah died in the red sea chasing the hebrews that had left egypt several days before. This is the position of a body that had fell to the ocean floor with full armour on.
@mastersduhgree No, I understand perfectly. This is not a Pharaoh, nor was he found in the Red Sea. The only mention of that cause of death is in the Koran as far as I am aware of. I've researched Egyptian History for almost my entire life now. The Koran-despite claims by it's adherents-is not 100% scientifically or historically accurate, especially in regards to Ancient Egyptian History.
That's not a Pharaoh, that's a commoner based on the position in which he was buried and the good surrounding him. A body in the sea decays very rapidly, whereas this body-buried in sand-was preserved.
i dont know who's that mummy is but google the egyptologue Maurice Bucaille who found the mummy of Pharaoh Ramses II and you'll find out the truth, dont believe any video on youtube, look up for the facts my fellow youtubers
Ancient Egyptians were European. Clearly. Look at the present day......Where do we see the greatest civilization? The EUROPEAN influence. The chinese are going to the moon? Big fuckin woop! USA bin there done that. Thanks to those German scientists for building the apollo rockets. Wernher von Braun <<<<< the former WW2 GERMAN scientist who brought you the MOON LANDING. Research your WORLD cause its FULL of corruption and LIES.......
Look at all that has come from the europeans. Look at a man named NEIL ARMSTRONG. This is what civilization has done for us. We are able to go to other planets. If the United States Of America would wake UP and spend it's $ on TECH and NOT MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX we'd be WAAAAAAY AHEAD
The most racist person in the world I know is a co-worker of mine......he is north american native and he has told me on numerous occasions about the legend of ancient migration around the world dating WAY back and that the RED HEADED GODS were just the europeans expanding there knowledge to the rest of the world. Look at present day. The greatest civilizations around the world are mostly brought upon by the UNITED KINGDOM. Look up all the inventions out of the UK. The most AMAZING civ EVER
Please read this comment. This mummy is known as 'Ginger' for his ginger hair that occured due to his accidental SAND mummification. He was buried in the Pre-Dynastic period before the pharoah's. I've stood right where the camera man is and seen these remains. He's well known for being one of the oldest and best preserved accidental mummies in Egypt. I have NO idea where this 'found in the red sea' thing comes from, he would not be in his present state if he was found in the sea.
@DDrogba113 Decay actually occurs rapidly in moisture-even if it is salt water. Salt only preserves a body once the moisture has been drained-including blood-and the organs removed. Alternatively, a lack of oxygen also allows for natural mummification, as seen with the "bog bodies", which are extremely well-preserved.
Funny thing is, Muslims believe that this is the Mummy of the Pharoah which Moses fought against and they believe the mummy is on his knees like that because he wanted to convert and was begging (by praying) to moses to resque him from drowning right before his death. You will actually see pictures of this mummy in many islamic documentaries.
Finding out years later that its just a regular mummified guy, must be a huge fail..
"So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs , revelations, etc.)." (The Quran, 10:92)
@Zorah88abass You do realise that this proves nothing, don't you? The scribes of the Koran were well aware that the Pharaoh of the Exodus died at sea, but the real evidence is that no Egyptian king died at sea. Most of them were burried in the Valley of the Kings, or in their own dedicated tombs.
@whatazhar It isn't him. No king would be given a pauper's burial, not even an administrator in the government of Pharaoh would be given a pauper's burial.
Are you even listening to what we are saying,he wasn't duried or given a sea burial,he was drowned when moses parted the sea for for his people to cross over & pharaoh along with his army where drowned when he tried to follow them into it.I am not quite sure which river that was i think the nile, but as we all know where the sea runs into?.
@whatazhar No Egyptian king has been found at sea. No armies have been found in the Red Sea. None. What could have been found was caravaneers from the Wadis to the Red Sea. They used this crossing during low tide. The Book of Exodus was written in 600BC by Judean preists sponsored by the Persians. It is a mythical history with only vague memories of historical events. The true Exodus was that of Ahkenaton and the Hyksos before him. The Judeans fabricated a sacred history from these stories.
That is what you believe dear friend, niether i or yourself was present at the time,so you have your beliefs & i have my own regarding this account,it doesn't mean either of us are right or both of us are wrong, but just difference of opinion.
We won't know for sure,so taking that into account i'm sure we can share each other view without trying to imply i'm wrong & your right or vice versa. We can't say for sure.
If you don't understand this then there is no hope for you. You're obviously not on an intellectual par with me. Keep to your false God and your superstitions. And I'll keep to the truth.
So you say,i'm willing to except it may not be the body of that person in question but you are,i don't call this intelligence but rather arrogance.
have you done a dna test to confirm it is not him,how many things in history have been proved wrong or even historian have had a different view on them.
our name suggests you from Blackburn in lancashire, england Do you know what the state of england was 1000AD never mind recalling 000's of years BC
@whatazhar The body is not of any king. It's obvious that this is the desecated body of a pauper, not a king. Kings were mummified. Why can't you understand?
@martynblackburn1977 how could this friken king be mumified if he drowned why is everyone stupid these days. if it was my family tradition to mumfiy each other and then i get drowned in the ocean how can theymumify me ( mid ocean use ur imagination)
@01life01chance I've said all along its not the body of any king. It's definately pre-dynastic and possibly just of a family member. Even right back to 3100BC, kings were burried in rock tombs, and not in sand pits. The bodies burried in sand pits are thought to originate in the Nagada period, or even before that to the time of the Badarians and other semi-nomadic groups.
hundred years ago,People thought the world was flat is it?.
these very kings you are talking about used to bury all there wealth & servants with them thinking it would benefit them in the afterlife, where they right?.Do you agree with them.
@whatazhar No they never. A hundred years ago people thought that the world was round. Two hundred years ago people still thought the earth was round. Look up Copernicus, and other scientists. Why are you asking me do I think it is right? If that's what the Pharaoh's did, then that is what they did. End of story.
No 1 said 100 or 2 hundred years ago,if you read my comment fully it says up until a few hundred years ago.
You didn't have to take that literally but if you did then that's a point.
When a person is not willing to reason with you there is no point into trying to argue with him,as the more you argue the more his arrogance will make him deny even if the truth is there in front of him.
@whatazhar It is simply not a king. The skeleton in the above footage is not of a king. I don't know who has been lying to you, but you must go back to them and tell them to stop spreading lies.
@whatazhar Because Kings were not given a pauper's burial. Do I have to repeat everything to you. Ramses' body was found in the Valley of the Kings, it was not found at the Red Sea. The body in this grave is likely of Pre-dynastic origin, or at least just a humble quarry or farm worker. The King was burried with a copy of the Book of the Dead and was mummified- every king was!
@whatazhar There's no communication problem; just a lack of knowledge. You're clearly confusing the true history with the mythical history. No Pharaoh has been found in the Dead Sea. It's all a false history. If the pharaoh in question was Merneptah, then that is most certainly not true, because Israel was already in Canaan during Merneptah's reign. If the Pharaohw as Ramses II, then this cannot be; his body was found in the Valley of the kings.
I am pretty sure the title is just to attract viewers to this video. If someone was in the sea that long their body would have decayed and fish would've eaten at it too.
Gospel & Torah only mentions that the sinking of Ramses II, but only the Qur'an which states that the body was saved by God Almighty, so that it can be a lesson for us all: "So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless." (Quran, 10:93)
@FGDTeevee Oh gosh...dont you get it either? Pharoah drowned ,He wouldnt have been burried in a tomb. There would have been a body of someone but not pharoahs.Theres a whole website on this matter.Pharoahs body would have been replaced with someone but most likely not a relative as they had to have a body immedietly. Also do you recall who king tut was? That question has an interesting answer.Tut was the firstborn of pharoah,Remember what happened to the firstborn of egypt? The passover? remember.
@FGDTeevee The turbulance of the sea when it closed in on pharoah was pretty extreme.Think maybe it washed the bling away? Look....the dudes naked ....must have washed his clothes away too .....HUH?
THis poor chap has been known as "Ginger" by all familiar with the BM for generations. I regualrly visited him as I toured the BM with my Grandfather at night. He was found in the desert and not "in the Red Sea". Please, please, let's have some common sense here!
The pharaoh was crying jugs with him? and was swimming in fetal position as he drowned? Really? REALLY??? Since when is gullibility a virtue?
You know whats really sad? Centuries ago, Muslim cultures embraced reason, while Europe was stuck in the dark ages, and now, so many have succumbed to ignorance and superstition like this stuff. The tragedy is that they think this path leads to glory, but they march toward the abyss and do not even know it. Wake up, guys.
For a start, if u want to pray to a god, u pray to allah. Because allah says in his quran "and jins and humans were not created except to worship me.(Btw; me is refering to allah.)
Secondly, prophet mohamed (p.b.u.h) married a 9year old. This may be alien to u, however at the time of this taking place, and in the that specific part of the world, young marriages are normal. Just as some people around the world find same-sex marriages alien, some people find it pefectly normal!
this revisionist project that links Somalia to ethiopia is false and baseless, Somalis have nothing in common with ethiopia (biologically, historically, and linguistically), therefore, it must be noted that, ancient Egypt is purely part of the Somali peninsula, the ancient civilization of the land of god’s, and it’s people as the virile merchants of the silk road. we have the same ancient prymidal structures littered in Somalia as in modern day egypt, but ethiopians they are from yemen
Rameses II did not go himself into the Red Sea to get the Israelites. That is what his army was for. They were the ones that were killed. Rameses went on to have other children and when he died they buried him in the Eqyptian tradition mummification with internal organ extracted with personal effects to go into the pyramid that was his final burial place. Read your history or better yet. Watch PBS.
I don't think that's a pharaoh... I just finished studying (junior high school actually ;P) Egyptians history and achievements, it includes mummification, Egyptian treats Pharaohs as Gods and as their belief of immortality so they preserve the body, you know extracting organs and other preparations, but for this... the heck?! where's the coffin? why is the body curled up to a ball? why is it not in a pyramid cause even though the Pharaoh died while the pyramid isn't yet finished, it should be in
I think this is a person either died from a natural disaster and was covered from the elements without being exposed to the air like in ice where the cold would preserve them. (Think Pompei). I read that some religions would do consenting sacrifices or just normal burials with belongings or relics of importance for gifts for their deities. At least that's what I remember.
Elementary school children know that Pharaoh's would b placed in a coffin + in a tomb of some sort. They would have been mummified + have had objects that they could use in the afterlife.
Thats not a pharoah...most likely just a peasent judging by the position of his body as well as the condition. Also he wasnt rich since there arent any bandages or ANYTHING that would lead us to believe that there was an attempt at mummification. Most likely a peasant buried in the desert and naturely preserved
how the hell could that body be of a pharaoh when its knees are bending. That body wasnt placed in a royal tomb or else it wouldn t be bending. All pharaohs were buried in coffins in which the bodies were placed like standing. This is a body of some rich guy who wanted to stay in eternity and was mummified
Why do you talk such rubbish that it was Pharoah??

fact remains though that this mummie's nickname is ginger, and was preserved naturally without mummification, so the title of the video is wrong

The Hyksos were probably the Haberu's (ancient Egyptian name for Hyksos) the Haberu's were probably the Hebrews, a lot of Egyptologists are coming to this conclusion also..
TheNWOtruth 1 month ago
@TheNWOtruth Which ones? I've never heard of them. Also, the Egyptians did not call "Haberu's", they called them "heqa khasewet", which meant "Foreign Rulers". I do not know where you're getting your info from, but it's incorrect.
travisanderson77 1 month ago
@travisanderson77 just because you havent heard of them doesn't mean that they aren't there.. just like this video is correct right? lol
TheNWOtruth 1 month ago
@TheNWOtruth None of the ones I know of accept that stance. Who has claimed it? You cannot claim experts whom you will not reveal. Otherwise I could say, "Experts agree with me that air is actually killing life." You made the claim-you have to back it up. Josephus made that claim nearly 2,000 years ago, but it been shown that he was wrong. I am unaware of any Egyptologist today who still believe Hyksos=Hebrews and you haven't been forthcoming in revealing them.

@travisanderson77 josephus lived in that time, modern egyptologists however did not..
TheNWOtruth 1 month ago
@TheNWOtruth Josephus did not 'live in that time" he lived thousands of years after. in addition, they didn't have the same knowledge of the era that we do now-they lacked both the archeological techniques nor did they know how to read Egyptian Hieroglyphics. furthermore, living closer to a time period does not necessarily mean you'll understand it better, especially if you're trying to validate religious belief rather than seeking the actual truth.
travisanderson77 3 weeks ago
@travisanderson77 he lived closer to it than us.. what makes this society so damn arrogant..? and who said that hieroglyphics couldn't be read anymore (at that time)? are you aware of coptic? those people speak practically ancient egyptian.. (evolving of a language? and thus scripture perhaps?) ever wondered how everything is relative? who says "we" (meaning this current generation) is right about everything?
TheNWOtruth 3 weeks ago
@TheNWOtruth Wow...really? Okay, where to start... Heiroglyphics were unreadable in his time, though many claimed to be able to read them, they were finnaly translated by Jean-François Champollion in 1822 after painstaking work with the Rosetta Stone, found by Napoleon's men in Egypt. Furthermore, Coptic is not "practically" the written system. We were clueless on how Hieroglyphics were read even though we knew Coptic. This is why we needed the Rosetta Stone and a 3rd language.
travisanderson77 3 weeks ago

@travisanderson77 Roman? You mean Macedonian? It has been said she spoke up to 7 languages, amongst them ancient Egyptian..

Stop using TAQIYYA in the video, just like Muhammad did in his lifetime.
The Quran was ever not from True God or even from Allah himself. The proof is this Hadith Al-Tabari 6:111, the quotation of Muhammad's below:
“I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken.” ~MUHAMMAD

1.) There is nothing to suggest that this dude was a pharaoh.
2.) There is nothing to suggest he was drowned.
3.) The body was not "found" in the Red Sea.

lol that's not a pharoah he's just some random Egyptian man who was buried in a grave pit. He was preserved from hot sands, not from water. Actually the lack of water is what preserved him so well. :)

MrCriis11 2 months ago
As other have said; this is nothing to do with Pharaoh or the mythical Exodus. It was found in southern Egypt 40 KM south of Luxor with 3 other bodies. It dates from 3400 BC, that is 2000 years BEFORE the supposed Exodus.

All Pharoahs in the XIX and preceding XVIII are accounted for-none died by drowning.
travisanderson77 3 months ago 14
@travisanderson77 You are so smug and speak as if you know something about Egyptian history. I will school you instead and I am just a commoner. The Exodus of the Hyksos, the Shepard Kings of Egypt from 1800BC to about 1200BC, who spoke Aramiac and were Semites, IS the Exodus of the Bible. The Hebrews of the Bible are the Hyksos. Yes I know how rather politically and religiously inconvenient that fact is. FACT not biblical embellishments.
MightyZarkon 1 month ago
@MightyZarkon Seriously? You're WAY off. There is no evidence that the Hyksos spoke Aramic in particular and in fact the Hyksos spoke many Semitic languages. I looked into your view on the matter and I found that it derives from a revisionist Rastafarian view on the matter which has NO basis on evidence form the time period. You want to school me with revisionist pseudo Archeology? Give me a break, religiously biased theories are a dime a dozen.
travisanderson77 1 month ago
@travisanderson77 You are such a bastard and you know it- I will prove it for your other viewers. You didn't check into anything, if you did then you would be quoting Egyptian historian Manetho, not quoting some ridiculous revisionist sect like the Rastas. You try to disjoin the Jews and the Hyksos but the timelines, the blood/DNA tests, the tombs, the Hyksos cities like Avaris and Tanis all bear the truth-that the Jews were never slaves and that they were known as Shepherd Kings
MightyZarkon 3 weeks ago
@MightyZarkon First of all, way to lower the standards of the debate by being the first to call me a name, second-Manetho did indeed make the argument, but Jospehus simply copied it, and while Manetho is a good source of the reigns of the Pharaohs, Egyptologists do not accept all of what he said at face value, and the statement of the Hyksos being Hebrews was more political than archeological-again, something you would know if you knew what you were talking about.
travisanderson77 2 weeks ago
@MightyZarkon To further prove you don't know what you're talking about, Tanis wasn't even founded when the Hyksos ruled Egypt. Avaris, true-was their capital during the 15th dynasty, but Tanis was founded in the late 20th dynasty-long after the Hyksos were driven out. In regards to the DNA tests, not only do pretty much all experts reject what you say, but you claim that Jews and Hyksos were the same. You can't even keep the terms right-Jews are not necessarily Hebrews.
travisanderson77 2 weeks ago
@MightyZarkon While it is true that the Hykosos ruled Lower Egypt in the time you mentioned-they were hardly enslaved and it was only after a great struggle that was waged by the Theban Rulers, Seqenenre Tao II, Kamose and finally, Ahmose who drove them out and established both the 18th Dynasty and the Egyptian New Kingdoms. YOU have no idea what you're talking about-I however do.
travisanderson77 1 month ago
@travisanderson77 They didn't rule lower Egypt, they ruled the North. I thought you said you know something? If I have to keep correcting what you think you know its just going to lead to more embarrassment for you but go ahead. Did you bother to check out Avaris yet? Now run along and play nice little boy.
MightyZarkon 3 weeks ago

This is not a Pharaoh, it is a commoner. The position in which the body was found is that of commoners who were too poor to have a tomb cut out. Ironically, being buried in the sand provided better preservation than the actual mummification process used on Royalty. Pharaohs were almost always laying down, with both arms crossed over their chests, and rarely-with their arms at their sides-but they were always facing up, and being laid to rest in a Sarcophagus.

mastersduhgree 3 months ago

@mastersduhgree No, I understand perfectly. This is not a Pharaoh, nor was he found in the Red Sea. The only mention of that cause of death is in the Koran as far as I am aware of. The Koran-despite claims by it's adherents-is not 100% scientifically or historically accurate, especially in regards to Ancient Egyptian History.

I've stood right where the camera man is and seen these remains. He's well known for being one of the oldest and best preserved accidental mummies in Egypt. I have NO idea where this 'found in the red sea' thing comes from, he would not be in his present state if he was found in the sea.

@conor845 the salt preserved his body :D
DDrogba113 4 months ago

@Zorah88abass You do realise that this proves nothing, don't you? The scribes of the Koran were well aware that the Pharaoh of the Exodus died at sea, but the real evidence is that no Egyptian king died at sea. Most of them were burried in the Valley of the Kings, or in their own dedicated tombs.

whatazhar 5 months ago
@whatazhar No Egyptian king has been found at sea. No armies have been found in the Red Sea. None. What could have been found was caravaneers from the Wadis to the Red Sea. They used this crossing during low tide. The Book of Exodus was written in 600BC by Judean preists sponsored by the Persians. It is a mythical history with only vague memories of historical events. The true Exodus was that of Ahkenaton and the Hyksos before him. The Judeans fabricated a sacred history from these stories.

01life01chance 4 months ago
@01life01chance I've said all along its not the body of any king. It's definately pre-dynastic and possibly just of a family member. Even right back to 3100BC, kings were burried in rock tombs, and not in sand pits. The bodies burried in sand pits are thought to originate in the Nagada period, or even before that to the time of the Badarians and other semi-nomadic groups.

How you a assuming someone who was swept away into the sea to be given a burial beats me mate.
whatazhar 5 months ago
@whatazhar There's no communication problem; just a lack of knowledge. You're clearly confusing the true history with the mythical history. No Pharaoh has been found in the Dead Sea. It's all a false history. If the pharaoh in question was Merneptah, then that is most certainly not true, because Israel was already in Canaan during Merneptah's reign. If the Pharaohw as Ramses II, then this cannot be; his body was found in the Valley of the kings.

I'll ans that 4 u!

Watch PBS.
ThePrettylady101 7 months ago
I don't think that's a pharaoh... I just finished studying (junior high school actually ;P) Egyptians history and achievements, it includes mummification, Egyptian treats Pharaohs as Gods and as their belief of immortality so they preserve the body, you know extracting organs and other preparations, but for this... the heck?! where's the coffin? why is the body curled up to a ball? why is it not in a pyramid cause even though the Pharaoh died while the pyramid isn't yet finished, it should be in

superjoe324 7 months ago
@superjoe324 Ramses II never went into the Red Sea. He was mummified and buried in the Egyptian tradition.

How dumb are these people why the hell would pharoah's body be in the red sea anyway

In case you didnt know, he was wearing the ring all pharoahs wore during their reign.
That was how they distinguished him from anybody else.
If someone like azaturkmen wants to bad mouth you, then he is an ignorant muslim.
Why dont you keep an open mind about the truth you are seeing right in front of you before you make any snap judgements.
