one of the earliest tunes I can remember. It helped give me a life-long love of Scottish accordion music. The highlight of which was seeing Jimmy Shand playing 'live' in Edinburgh's Playhouse theatre in the late 1970's.
@icr24350 hi, am not the biggest Jimmy Shand fan, but he's important to our musical heretige. but I'd say he's up there with the likes of Phil & Aly & the dozens of other decent musicians. the only other record of his I've had is a cracked copy of Bluebell Polka that mi Gran loaned mi.
nice tune but ya ruined the ending.
