This thing costs way too much for its lack of performance...the compressor ended up breaking on me and it doesnt give good coverage...Im using a compressor thats $80 and I use regular foundations and works WAY better. Good video on how to use it though.

FYI Sephora in JCPenny's online store has a special for the airbrush system: $165 for the system & 2 foundation pods. Also Temptu touchup foundation, powder, blush, & highlighter on sale for $20 online at JCPenny too. Temptu's website has 2 summer blush pods for only $48 w/ a free foundation voucher. Good luck! & I ordered mine yesterday....warm beige foundation, gold highlighter, & peach blush too.

hey julie, you should get the temptu pro, its a little pricier but the chord is longer, its alot better ( powerful compressor) n the makeups cheaper

@integrachic25 You dont have to use a sponge afterward. I have tried the product several times (and I was not sent it for free). It applies and sets immediately to a matte finish, so if you wanted to blend with a sponge, it wouldnt work too well. The whole point of the system is to avoid blending afterwards too :D :D -Michael

There are many gurus, including Julie, who make realistic videos. Most of them will tell you to use whatever products you have in place of the makeup they are demonstrating, so that you don't have to go out and buy a bunch of new stuff. But I think reviews on more expensive/specialty products are helpful, because they actually help you decide whether you want to make an investment on something more pricey and whether it will worth it.

Well, this type of airbrush gun/system thing is pretty expensive. But you can get other airbrush makeup for a much cheaper price. For example, the Dior AirFlash Spray Foundation is $60 and the Sally Hansen spray foundation is about $20.

But yeah, airbrush SYSTEMS like this usually go up to the hundreds. $
