What do you do for sun protection in Hawaii? I was there just for a weekend and got baked to a crisp. I don't think my skin could survive unless I hid indoors all day.

There was a guy who did this on the 300 + acres of land where my cabin is in the upper peninsula of michigan. In fact he went all out and dug this funny looking hole in the ground and built a wooden frame around it and that is where he SLEPT even in Winter. He'd go hunt, shoot for meat (it's the UP, have fun looking for fresh fruit in mid-winter), fishing, and pick berries in summertime. Weirdest but coolest thing ever. :) There's no way in hell I'd want to live like this though lol.
