Well here's a concept. Omfg, Tony Royster Jr and Thomas Pridgen are .... [omfg] DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND DIFFERENT DRUMMERS. Both sick in their own right - the smartest thing to do IMO is erase the terms Best, Technical Ability, Better etc. and just shut up and watch.

@phats721 tony can't touch the current thomas...thomas has evolved drastically since this vid. tony hasn't evolved as much...not near as much actually. thomas is more technically sound and his vocabulary has grown immensely on the kit. he would kill tony

@MrMrDrummerboi thomas plays with soul...tony doesn't. tony has speed and chops but thomas would crush him in technical difficulty. put it like this, most drummers can do what tony does..because he's just fast. study thomas's style (not from this old ass vid) and you'll see he's WAY deeper than u think. any1 will agree that thomas's heavy influences of vinnie colaiuta and dave weckl make him more technically sound than tony whos arsenal is mosly made up of common rudiments sped up. thomas owns.
