what i do(and i think it's more effective) is take the engine, difs, planetarygears, and shocks off, take the chassis and dip it into water with soap and nothing more.

the rest with gas oil and patience.

whenever you are washing your wheels, i would cover the holes with tape or something like that so no water gets in the tire and adds weight and unbalances the wheel.....

PS: to other people watching this video DO NOT EVER take your air filter off while your cleaning it wait till after and do it then. one little speck of dust gets in the engine and its ruined

Another way is to use something like mineral turpentine in a spray bottle. Remove the electonics first though.

Hi ali, i have a question about my infinitive rc truck. Its right dogbone axle is ok when i turn but the right one slips out of the socket. What do u think the problem is? I have no idea and i really need your help on this one.

@kasey24ful seems like that side upper connecting rod has moved the C hub connection away that keeps the distance between wheel drive cup and front gear drive cup enough to hold dog bone in. See if you can tighten the screws or anything provided to get that distance set to shorter.

The best way I have found to clean a R/C car is to spray it down with rubbing alcohol & then hit it with some compressed air. It leaves it spotless & it won't hurt the electronics. You should never take the air cleaner off while cleaning it as crap can get into the carb.

Not going to happen glow igniters alone are like 20 bucks 30 bucks a gallon of fuel, and the car can run anywhere from 200 and up, keep dreaming this is an expensive hobby but worth it, only try if you are willing to dedicate the time and money

Electric are best for beginners my man. and comparatively cheap to run and maintain than nitro cars. Now whether to get truck or buggy, its all your choice my man. If you like off roading, go for trucks, if you like off road speed and jumps, go for buggies

Then I wash it with Dishwasher (not the machine! I mean the green/blue fluid) and a toothbrush.

Then I put it back together without a manual (which is pretty hard)!

TIP TIME :P: dont use wd40. from personal experience i have realised that wd40 eats away rubber.. i now use after run oil. there are rubber sealed bearings in the engine so wd40 eats the rubber= bad. if you want to use something else instead of after run oil. then use a product called gt85.

I have used tap water to wash the engine. just make sure you seal the carb right and don't let any water go inside the engine. also make sure water doesn't get to electronics :D

Check if wheels are fixed properly n are tightened well. If they are, then probably the wheel axle is bent. get new axles or straightened the old ones out.

hey mate, I wash the tires by water too. But I found some rusting appearing due to using water on different metal parts. So now I just spray WD40 or other cleaner on car, Wash away the spray after 2 minutes using water making sure it doesn't get to battery compartment. Then I clean it with cloth n spray WD40 all over. beats rusting :) Cheers Just make sure you spray rust beating thing after wash.

yes you can. Later you will have to prime the engine well and it will start. However some people found it difficult to start after they used WD40 inside engine. I'd say to be on safe side, before starting after you have sprayed WD40 inside carb n piston area, take out the glow plug, put nitro in carb directly, n onto the piston, pull the starter to unflood the engine and then, put the glow plug back in. It will start easy. no worries

Hey, compressed air or air compressor is the best choice to do it safe and easy. Don't remove the air filter. spray WD40 or similar liquid all over the body, then just blow everything away using air compressor. Car will be like new again. Later when dirt is cleaned, you can take out the air filter and wash it. dry it, apply airfilter oil n you are done :)

nooooooooo, don't ever put the petrol in a Nitro Engine :D. If you want to run on petrol, you can buy a 1/5 scale gasoline engine 26cc truck :) those things are awesome :D

What is a nitro fuel?

Its the fuel for Nitro Engines :) heheh. Nitro Methane mixed with lubricant oil with 15% to 30% rate. The only fuel that nitro engine can run on. Don't ever use petrol in nitro engine :D
