Why haven't there been 2D fighting games made for Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Diamond is Unbreakable, Golden Wind, Stone Ocean, or Steel Ball Run? I guess they KIND of did for Phantom Blood and Golden wind on Ps2, except those are action fighting games, not versus fighting games...

Oh how I remember this game, it was always the highlight of my week to pump quarter after quarter into this bad boy.. I was always Polneref(sp?) and my brother Kakyoin (I think that was his name, the guy with the emerald blast.) I always thought I was impressive using Silver Chariot so "expertly", but wow, and I mean.. WOW.

I doubt there are many afficianados of this game left... but could anyone tell me how you can go from a stand combo and then shift out of stand mode and still execute a special? What I mean is what Jotaro does in the last combo in the vid, where he's doing a stand combo, then calls off the stand but still gets it to pull a qcb+p. The same thing happens in the Vanilla Ice combo with his qcb+p; how does this work?

That was by out a doubt one of the most well constructed AMVs related to a game that I've ever seen. The introduction alone was a work of art. Just a shame it ended so soon; I would have loved to see more of Jotaro kicking ass & taking names.

its not because he is in training mode.

combo for that long would fill your power meter up already, so u can add supers in between...

all i know is that the combo is similar to some char in SFA 3.

u will know what i mean if u know combo in SFA 3 with char like Guy , Gen.

coz the timing of the button is rather similar.

like there is a slight delay between button attack combo.

Loved the Vanilla combo, even though it was around 50 hits. Still looked damn sweet, and I loved Kakyoin's too. The reason it's so high is they're in Training mode where you always have max combo bars.
