  • Dude you did it all wrong. 1-U had your seat belt on 2)U were going the speed limit 3)U were too early,' injun time brother' 4)U prolly have a valid drivers license )U prolly have insurance 5)takes 15 seconds to cross the bridge to the reserve land 6)U look sober???

  • we don't have enough pampered boston actors.

  • welcome to OR haters

  • FIRST OF ALL YOU DIDNT START IN WARM SPRINGS!!! SECOND OF ALL YOU TOOK THA LONG WAY!! DUMB SHEIAPPO

  • did you notice he started off the rez and ended off the rez...lmao must be scared to actually start in warm springs!!

  • Not sure about that, but for the sake of argument go ahead and shave 15 minutes off the commute if you like... it's still unreasonable.

  • i heard they were gonna do a shuttle anyways so why does this commute matter?

  • Unless it's a space shuttle, that's still an awfully long time. The Bureau of Indian Affairs's guidelines say that if an off-reservation casino is to be built, it must be within a reasonable commute - that way, the tribe benefits with new employment opportunities without sacrificing four hours each day to get to work.

  • Most people who would be working at the casino live in Cascade Locks and Hood River. Must tribal members commute from the Reservation? That would be a "Stay on the reservation, Injun!" argument if I ever heard one. Wasqupum, Kamiltpam, Wyampum and Powanputpum (enrolled as Warm Springs or Yakama) are Columbia River people from the word go -- for 10,000+ years. I think the BIA should annex Hood River and Cascade Locks into a rez just to piss these anti-NDN folks off. HE HE HE

  • i agree

  • that guy has to much time on his hand try drivin it at the other end of the reservation

  • Unfortunately, that's not where most people who would be working at the casino live.

  • I drive to Portland Every Day for Work And For Me Its Reasonable so I Can Support My Family I Also Know of 15 Others that Drive 25 to 80 miles one-way.

So as long its fine for people please don't impose your views on what what we should do or how to live.

  • Closer, on-reservation alternatives exist. If you had a choice to have a shorter commute for the same job, wouldn't you? Plus, this commute goes through such treacherous back roads in the winter that it's as much a safety issue as a time issue.

  • I think you missed the point of this video. I don't think the author is imposing his views on anybody. He just went and see if what the casino supporters claim is correct. (Obviously it's not.) You draw your own conclusions if it's reasonable or not.

    Trust but verify. (Ronald Reagan)

  • The truth is stretched a bit by him since the location he started from is not on the reservation.

  • great vid
