Isn't that design dangerous for the ship itself? I mean, the front torpedo launcher is on the back side of the ship, so if it shoots when is maneuvering quicky up, the torpedo may hit the bridge...

@Bifariam thats torpedo speed launch is faster than ship move, impossible for the torpedo hit the ship...

@Bifariam I had the exact same thought. The torpedoes fire over the top of the bridge!!  One bad torpedo and the bridge crew are in serious toruble!

Great job on the graphics quality! You might want to increase the playback speed of the fighter rolling and of the warp speed. Make sure you pan out for a wider shot of the warp speed when you fix it.

Akiras were always my favorite ship to use in Star Trek: Armada, little bundles of destruction :D

Not a bad effort for a fan series. I think the camera movements in the animation could use some work (moving really fast over the ship makes it seem like it's smaller in scale, IMO. If you slowed things down it would create a better sense that this is a big ship), but the lighting inside the shipyard looked very nice.

The ship is small. It's my favorite, but it is over powered (I'm sure that's why it's my favorite).

Small and very nimble. I have however always had the same issue with it's ability to have such a large shuttle bay. On the flip side though the shuttle bays could easily involve many more decks then a Galaxy class since there is no civilians on this ship to take up space (The main shuttle bay covers something like 3-4 decks on the Enterprise-D blue prints so....).

It sort of is. Alex Jaeger, designer of the Akira-class, noted that she has three hangar bays up front (unusual for a Federation starship), and is heavily armed - she was his "gunship/aircraft carrier," that could launch small craft from the bow and have them come in at the stern under the protection of the ship's heavy firepower, including no less than 15 torpedo launchers.
