@SeGaSaTuRn1994 i don't think theres any uncut dvd realeases but you can search The Goonies on google and click on imdb the goonies and click full cast and crew then click on alternate versions.Hope this works:).

@MegaTiler iv now got the full UNCUT version on dvd i cut the extras out of the movie on my laptop and then reditied the cut scenes back into the film using videoredo iv now got all the octopus and shops scene back in my film its well awsome very easy program to use

hi there i would like a copy of this version please if possible.i just hate it when directors make 2 version to a movie one for the cinema and one for the television channels which have more footage then extra on dvd release.this film was in fact nearly 7

@princeemirlion yes the original was around 7hr long very silly lol. mine has just got all the extras on the disc put back into the movie edited in. theres extended shop scene. more sloth cave scenes, the alternate ending with the octopus, a scene were data get his binocs out and they break on a rock. took me absaloutly hours to edit this and its allmost there iv jsut gotta make the audio all the correct volume now and it will run smooth, iv not worked on it tho yet as been very busy. :)

Man..this is a great and funny scene, it sucks that hollywood took this out of the movie. "Data is just like his father" makes an inventions and gadets like Q in 007 thats why wants he likes 007..LOL!!!

I remember this scene when I saw the movie in the cinema ages ago. It's not in the dvd but it was in then. I did not see the octopus scene until today.

so thats what andi means at the end of the film when she says HE'S JUST LIKE HIS FATHER, because datas dad does the same thing....like the octopus incodent, they edit out the actual clip but keep the refrence at the end of the movie lol
