tried it on my LG Chocolate touch, it works, also yes it will void your warranty, I've done this on my first LG Chocolate Touch, and I screwed it up (by pressing back then typing the same service code and setting up 2 numbers at once)

@XxdannyXxable Nope never found the code. But its kinda useless anyways. Doesn't make the phone any better. Just go to lg website and download software for latest bios. I already downloaded 3 bios since i bought the phone. Seems the same but i installed a bunch of movies and music videos on to the phone and they play great since i did the update.

Whatever this is, Only works on touch phones. It did not work on my dial phone. LG 220.
