Woah!! Strike my last comment. I've just made another observation!!!!! Do u see what the fisherman has in his boat? LARGE CRAB BOXES!!! THE FISHERMEN ARE RETRIEVEING THE CRAB/PARAISTE things that were killed during the previous night's showdown!!!!

No, the night vision picture was taken BEFORE the New York attack. Here, they recaptured the creature in the Atlantic after it escaped the "oil rig" facility a couple of days earlier. Then they were in the proccess of shipping the creature to a secret location somehwere upriver in NY state, via an oil tanker. This is how the creature ends up in New York!! It literaly breaks out of the tanker.

I've figured all this out cuz i worked out alot of the clues from the 1-18-08 site. The second photo u see above are fishermen fishing at the same location the following morning at dawn. Obviously attracted by all the chaos they witnessed from their fishing traller's the previous night.

What the fishermen find is a sea of blood from the aftermath of the previous night's battle, and loads of dead fish everwhere floating on the surface (killed from all the explosives used). Loads of fish were probably recovered in the space of only a couple of hours -- a fisherman's dream come true. heheheh.

Yep and another weird thing was when the oil tanker was sunk into the ocean, there was a large tentacle that brought it down. The cloverfeild moster never had those.

the one on the left is a whale the one on the right looks like the monster noticed the charred skin... if its exposed to explosions it would be charred and burnt, and notice the claw next to it wales dont have claws lol

that's one of my theories as well... I believe there is more than one monster. Like what made the claw marks on the statue of liberty? Surely not the monster in the end, it didn't look like it had claws. And when it got bombed in the end the roar it made was NOTHING like the one we heard earlier in the movie after rob's party. AND what made the bridge collapse? Surely not the things tail, it was WAY too big. Those are just some theories

It may seem that way but I"m pretty sure it was it's tail. And you never really (or at least I didn't) hear the same roar as in the trailer or even the same roar twice. I'm pretty sure it has three claws too...If you pay attention during when they are in the helicopter and filming the monster being bombed, you can see it lash out its long arm at a building and see its three claws just tear down the building.
