Fiat was available in USA quite a few years ago but they had a habit of rusting out and reliability was poor but they had a cute little roadster, Fiat Spyder, that was popular. They may have stopped selling them here due difficulties with EPA compliance?
It looks ridiculously small but that's at first glance and looking at the exterior only. I am 6ft5 and I can drive in it. Yeah, I know: it does not compare to a BMW series7.... but it is fun to drive!

FIAT improved the reliability , added to a really good performing advanced tech on board .
FIAT in recent years have been increasing
of 280% in Germany .
Maybe at that time they were not so confident to get into the american market , this time it looks to be different ( there are many jobs to save ) .

We need small diesels over here.
The FIAT 500 was named Best Small Diesel in 2008.
Legalize hemp and run it on Hemp Oil.
Diesel engines last longer than gas engines, so the working poor will be able to buy used ones in 5-10 years that still run good.
Plus there will be lots of aftermarket goodies for it.
