I think the 90's Brock hatred for Spiderman was way more believable than the 2007 cartoon Brock. They actually made Brock too sympathetic in the current cartoon so his hatred felt very forced.

At least the 90's Brock was never portrayed as a likeable character and he and Peter were never friends to begin with so I could understand the animousity between the two.

I respectfully disagree, my friend. Raimi did contribute a lot to the franchise's success by casting Tobey Maguire as the lead role, as well as bringing in Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn and Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus.

The only gripes I ever had with Raimi was his crappy treatment of Venom and the ugly costume designs for the Green Goblin and New Goblin. The 3rd Spiderman was an albatross due to the infighting between Sony and Raimi for the record.
