  • @powervac1 lolwut?

  • Hi there. When you say you converted 50i to 25p, you de-interlaced the footage in post then rendered as 25p?

  • @CircleofShit Im not sure. lol.

  • @swan83 No worries. What country are you in?

  • @CircleofShit Denmark

  • @swan83 Great! I am a big fan of Nicolas Winding Refn. Have you seen Valhalla Rising?

  • @CircleofShit Never heard of any of those :) lol

  • @swan83 No way? Check him out, hes made some great films. He is Danish.

  • @CircleofShit pusher 1-2-3, amazing

  • @fdesouchecom I agree! I love those films, and Bleeder as well.

  • did you do Color Correction with Magic Bullet

  • @swan83 nice, exactly why I'm still getting it, after tried to color correct in FCE.. good but film filters seperates film look from videos.

which one did you get: Instant looks, or Colorista, or the whole suite

  • @DramaKidStudioz I got the looks :) pun!

  • whats up with the bad quality

  • I have a few more questions! 1st, when I export any of my vids, they always come out brighter (whiter) than the original. Did u do any color correction? Also, yours is so clear. Did you use cine mode?

  • Try playing the files with Windows Media player, if you already dont. Its a bug in the h.264 codec I think, when played in other players.

Yes its color graded with Magic Bullet and it is cine mode.

  • One last thing. What settings do you use when rendering the video?

  • hmm, h.264 cineform 1280x720p about 8000kb bitrate, 25p (if pal)

  • Thanks!

  • thx for the quick response, i'm gonna try it right away! I'll let u know how it turns out!

  • Hey what's up. I bought the Canon Vixia HV30 and I can't get slow mo results like yours. I use Sony Vegas for the slow mo. Can you tell me what settings you used on the cam for this shot and what you did in After Effects? Thanks

  • Import the videofile. Then right click the file and select interperet footage, Main. If your in PAL area, select 25 FPS, Seperate Fields, upper fields first, and check preserve edges. Click OK. Then drag your file into a new composition. Right click the file in the comp, select Time and Time stretch 200%, click OK.

Then export to a file or export to Premiere Pro Project (what I do).

Tips, make the new composition double lengh of the original file (200% stretch = double time lengh).

  • god, that's amazing...!

I love u for making that XD
