  • One day I'm going to do this... yet, I've got a long way to go, gotta lose about 80lbs(bike will come in handy for that) and trade up from my Murray I bought on craigslist for 25 bucks -- this is really cool though... wow, I can't wait...

  • That's motivating to hear! I suggest Mapmyride .c-o-m to find some great trails near you to ride on. You should also look up some great workout routines targeted at weight loss and Cardio fitness. Cycling is a great sport for both. Find your Maximum Heart rate with 220 minus your age. Weight loss occours at 60 to 85 percent of your maximum in the Aerobic zone. PM me if you want to learn a bit more I'm always willing to help. There's no shame in getting out on the bike :) Happy riding!

  • Hey thanks for the advice... I had forgotten I left a comment. I'm still trying to get the bike thing going -- I just literally(like two weeks ago) saved up enough to get a somewhat decent bike. I bought a slightly used Specialized Sirrus ... now, I've got to ride and work my way up. Stay tuned.
