i said the constitution still applies to whites because this country is still far from equal. further, its hard to see conservatism as the agent of change when throughout our history its been on the wrong side of equal rights, civil rights, women rights, and worker's rights, to name a few. history matter more than you think, it tells us where we've been and where we are going. i'd put my faith into an ideology that actually leads to change, not one that tries to preserve the status quo.

I let my NRA membership expire about 2 years ago when they continued to suck repiglican cock even while everything in this country went to shit. I still get shit in the mail from them to this day, even though I sent them a I resign my membership, cancel me now card to them about a year and a half ago.

I dont have a problem with changes in principles in the constitution but politicians dont do the right way anymore. Ok, fine! Amend away at the Constitution, but Ron Paul doesn't care about the Constitution! I consider myself more politically moderate than anything, and am pro-life. I supported McCain until the election campaign really got underway, but now will vote for Obama. I don't know if these people are actors or not, but either way, a lot of what they said here is exactly what I've been thinking.
Everyone will vote his or her conscience. Disparaging the other side with remarks like "idiot" isn't particularly helpful.
