  • If you want to see the dutch fireman's, search for "brandweer prio 1" or "politie prio 1" for police and "ambulance a1" for ambulance.

  • They drive faster in the Netherlands.

    Way too slow.

  • love to hear that Q cry :)

  • its normal for a ladder to go on a medical run

  • How old is this truck? What kind is it?

  • can this truck go any slower? geez.

  • If my officer stood on the siren like that I'd push him out the window. Just use it when you need it.

  • Here in Ionia, Michigan, we run out Ladder for all medicals, or if ladder not in service we run first out engine.

  • hey man what dept you on?

  • I'm now on Lyons/Muir, I must restate my last post. We new run our Heavy Rescue truck on all medicals.

  • A Ladder Truck to a Medic call, must be from the south

  • It is from the south but it is what was assigned to our Station and what we rolled out first due. St.Louis uses an all Quint concept. I have seen pumpers bigger and more cumbersome than that Quint on the road

  • hey chiefpo, what do you cll all the side streets, leading to the main road? intersections. right? but thats why your a white hat.

  • The Q is the best siren there is. Because of change in pitch and volume it is the only thing that works with some drivers anymore. It is the only one that should be on a Fire Apparatus.

  • Why would a department send a ladder to a medical call?

  • It was probably the closest unit.

  • It is a 75' Quint. That is what we run out of the station first out.

  • nearst available unit

  • Sometimes if it a highrise building and the stretcher can't fit through the stairs they can't transfer the patient down from the ladder. I'm not sure if they do that in America but they do that sometimes in Asia and Europe.

  • Budget cuts, they can't afford to run a ladder and engine so they have a quint. Naprville, IL has 2 stations with just Ladders in them, they run the most Medical calls of all 10 stations.

  • Keeps Mileage down on rigs... Quints aren't terrible. They get the job done

  • @Hotshot679 a lot of departments do that. City of Albany runs them to medical calls.

  • Nice response! Like how you whistled the powercall haha
