excellent tone! that's exactly what I'd like my Valve jr to sound like. I wish mine had more headroom. I'm thinking of gutting it completely and turning it into an AC-15. Thanks for sharing that video.
Thanks. You are right on the money...clean headroom is the toughest part of modding a Valve JR IMHO. I've done a few different builds on turretboards and your best bet is to follow the fender or voxy mods and not go too over the top on the gain/marshall stuff. Some NFB helps too! They get plenty dirty when you crank em anyway!
