i love what your doing here. this is my kind of content. i will blog about you on FashionistaSista.ca I applaud you my dear. check out my videos, I think we're on the same wave. right on sister. mwah!
hi i have a lot of old magazines laying around the house and have nothing to do with them bu ti dont want to throw them out! can you make a project tutorial on what to do with the magazines
Meg, Corinne, and Rob are on Craftzine!!! I just watched their youtube video with Corinne making crafts for her wedding. Is she getting married to Rob?!? there was a pillow she made with C&R in the middle. LOL. Rob was in the credits too!!! I've also seen some of Meg's video there. Woot Woot! I love your videos bionerd/threadbanger, but I miss those guys so much too!
I´m sure my comment will be deleted or something but I´m so glad Corinne is back with a new show. it´s just like the old TB only with a different name. I´m not saying this videos are bad, no they are informative and usefull and everything but it is NOT what TB used to be and it´s kind of annoying it´s just like suscribing to certain magazine with a very defined content and then it starts changing untill it has nothing to do with what you suscribed to... that´s why we complain so much.
I have all of these magazines just kinda laying around, but it's just the pages, not the actual magazine. What can I do with them besides throw them in the recycling? Please help.
no offence but when your taking a pattern off a tank top, atleast have it folded perfectly flat, and the fact that you have the pattern paper, the weights etc etc etc
why don't you actually teach us how to create real block patterns, so we can make lots of different dress, tops etc. ??
We never got a chance to see the finished product on anyone! I want to see how it looks when worn! One can't make an informed decision on if they like it or not, and I have no idea what the finished product is supposed to look like. How can I make it if I don't know what it looks like? Sewing blind...
This is exactly what I needed! Step by step through the pattern making. So simple!!! Cute little dress, love it! Definitely something I need to make! So many different things you could do with this as well to change it around!!
Wow, what a cool tutorial! I love that you showed us how to make a pattern and you explained everything really well. I'm a beginning sewer and I could follow along with what you were saying. The dotted paper that you used for the pattern, did you buy or make that? If you bought it, what is it called? Also, can you show us how to make a pattern for something with sleeves?
It's not her fault, but I like the original hosts' "Threadbanger" aspect better. She's not that bad, but she should host different channel instead. As a royal Threadbanger fans, I liked it because of the way it was. Now it went a way different direction. These new videos disappointed me every time. Too bad, it's not getting better, but getting worse. Boring show, not creative enough, there's almost no action and stories. For all those reasons, sad, but I unsubscribed.
@angelilic12312 You can suscribe to Corinnes new channel instead. I unsuscribed too from TB but check from time to time to see if there´s something intresting.
U r amazing!!! I should say that i always look forward seeing your new videos! N whenever i tried to do it, it was perfect! Thank you for your great ideas!♥♥♥
HEY HEY..I think KL is trying her best to do this...I think its not even fair some people expect her to do stuff for BOTH sexes. I get we're not ALL girls, or like girlie things, but you HAVE to give her props...shes like--THE ONLY FRICKEN SHOW ON THREADBANGER RIGHT NOW...that ISN'T making ads for google.(may I point out??)
I just have a suggestion... Show the finished project being worn in the video? I have a hard time getting a feel for it just from a photo. That's all. :)
When I "copy" patterns from clothing, or drafting a new pattern, I just use wax paper and a tracing wheel.. It's way more economical, and it's see through. Also canned foods, like tuna, are my pattern weights, lol.
@crownhime i would try the wrapping paper they sell with the grid on it. i think its made by scotch or something... maybe hallmark? *shrug* i think it would work just fine
i am not a hater. i am subscribed to both this channel and secretlifeofabionerd. i wonder, like why would you post the same video on both channel? it seem sort of usseless...
@azn02468 Because not everyone subscribes to both channels. Some people subscribe to Threadbanger only, or SecretLifeOfABioNerd only. This way she is reaching a wider audience with her videos. :)
@azn02468 i would guess it's because not everyone is subscribed to both channels so if someone is subscribed to only one they'll still get a chance to see it and she wont have to chose which channel to submit it to...but i agree seems like a lot of work considering how long it takes for a video to upload.
First of all : awesome tutorial! But, I was curious to know what is the school referred to in "my school" -video description- and whether the technique used was simplified for a non professional audience or not. Since, I was sort of under the impression that every millimeter counts in pattern making.... :P
I really like the dress, but in the beginning I had problems following what you're doing and why (I've only just started trying to learn how to sew) . Maybe it would help to first show how the pattern is supposed to look like when it's finished, so i could fully concentrate on details like drooping necklines while you're explaining? Just an idea,
@junimondify If you watch the video once through before starting, you'll see the finished pattern and will have an idea before you begin. :) Like anything you do, you should always read (or in this case "watch") all of the instructions before beginning. :)
@RaeLynnShikure I did, in fact, I've watched it three times in a row. It was just an idea to make it easier for complete beginners like me, because you can't really see the details of the finished dress in the photos (but that could be just me and my crappy screen...)
So,I don't understand why everyone keeps complaining about her personality. Or that they don't find her funny. So what? I didn't find the original hosts funny, but the videos are informative and usful.Just like they are now! People need to put in constructive criticism if they don't like something- instead of just complaining about it. If you don't want to put an effort into making it better and REALLY don't care, stop watching. That's just my two cents.
@countrygiri I love your 2 cents! I loved the old TB staff and miss them, but for whatever reason they left and it's time to get over it. Bionerd has a completely different style, so critique her based on what she does and not on who she replaced.
@countrygiri She's not relatable. She's a petite girl not average and I find it hard to relate. She makes it look so easy cause she barely uses any fabric. But when you try to do it for yourself or someone else... It's not that simple.
@sTellasTar24 If you are using the amount of fabric to judge how easy something is,I think you need to reavaluate said method. As for not being relatable,I can understand where your coming from. I'm a bit above average-and my porportions are completely different. However,I can still use her videos for the pattern making and design ideas. Not all of her stuff is easy to make, perhaps it would be best if she re-introduced the evaluating system.
@countrygiri I'm just saying, obviously when you use less fabric or have to make less adjustments it's easy to do. Maybe she can show how to alter something for a bigger bust, etc. That's all.
@musiclover1ism yeah but before rob n coreen left and she took over it was a more well rounded show n i dont think she gets that. Thats not to say i dont like her tutorials i really do but i guess i figure if i was a guy and a fan of threadbanger when it started i dont think i would still be subscribed today.
@IMakeBoyzJizz I agree, while the dresses and cute little whatnots are cool some things for the guys would be great. I run a DIY Club at my school and I have a few guys in there so I dont think just making flowers outta fabric is going to cut it :P We would really like some things for guys to do
@silverbracelet6 No way?! I thought they just decided to stop because she and Rob were done with it. That sucks, I liked them soooooo much better!!! And Meg :) I miss it :(
oh wow...i wish i had your talent! my attempts at sewing have been laughable so i have not done anything in years. i can't wait to check out your other videos...i'm sure it's going to be like stepping inside of a dream closet!
