  • thats just down right lazy and impractical!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what are you gonna do when your battery goes dead tell the snow to stop of like 8 hours till it done charging??????? CAN I GET A THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's awesome!

a spring loaded rocker on/off switch for changing directions would be ideal.

  • This is a blower not a thrower... lol

  • Very cool. I want to make one of these...

How does the battery hold up in the cold? Do you bring it inside with you when you're done blowing?

My blower is in an unheated garage all winter, so I doubt the battery would take well to that...

Also, what hardware did you use to mount the drill/chuck to the side of the blower?

    Good job!!

  • Cool idea!

  • This is really cool. Many drills have varible speeds which would allow a slower turning speed. Is this a one speed drill ?

  • This drill has two speeds. I like the fast speed and it also has a clutch that keeps it from tearing something up if it gets jammed with snow.

  • pathetic, u lazy u cant just crank the little handle to turn the chute? you must have alot of time on your hands

  • my snow blower would be like, this snow aint worthy of my time lol

  • that is completely irrational, but pure genius! not to mention a little on the expensive side

  • I wouldn't modify mine but it's a good idea nonetheless.

  • you coulda at least made a pile, then use it

  • that was very impresive you should patent it and make some money cool vid

  • dude you could have used a damn leafblower for that dusting of snow!

  • dude get a real snowblower Craftsman is junk

  • dude we r talking about snowblowers here not tools! And i have a JoyStick on my snowblower to turn the shute up and down left and right

  • thats a good idea! My 5.5hp Craftsman has the same corkscrew mechanism. Might just try it!

  • wow u look like a retard throwing air with VERYY little snow

  • lol

  • lol

  • i got a NEW insparation! thanks

  • sweet

  • haha niice, ultumate laziness.

  • I like it. May I suggest you use a low torque setting on the drill head to avoid damaging it and the chute (which i guess is plastic).

I will definately look at making something similar, thanks for the inspiration

  • i bet your neighbor thinks you are crazy for snowblowing a half inch of snow. thats a really cool idea though.

  • lol so true about the neighbor and snow ha ha ha

  • @tainterlakeisgreen i believe it was more out of demonstration, than necessity. haha but i'd probly do it if i just "customized my snowblower. mines currently iundergoing a 5 horsepower to 13 horse with elec start conversion. just need to find pulleys and give it a whirl!!! exciting!

  • make a mod so u sit at home at it does it job itself the world is looking upon u

  • ha red neck mod haha i can do better.

  • ok, let's see...

  • doubt it...

  • I did the same thing long ago.... only I used a GM power window motor.... Those redicious cranks are dumb! :)

  • I did this a few years ago too. I mounted my battery different and used a power window switch to control the direction.

  • That's a great idea, TS - Thank you!. I didn't think of a power window switch. Center-off, momentary left, right. That would work great. Maybe a mod for next year. I'm sick of snow right about now.

  • lol

  • very cool that made me laugh.

  • Very slick! I like that

  • Smart Idea if you can't afford a Honda

HS928 snowblower with that option already on it.

  • Dude, you need to get a patent on that. Sweet!

  • Interesting project, works great. How about those infinite speeds?

  • Thanks. It has two speeds. The video shows the fast speed. I slowed it down when I used it in heavier snow.
