This is about taking care of one's appearance. Too many Muslim women put on their covers, gain 100 pounds and give up taking care of themselves. Your appearance is part of who you are and since Muslim WOMEN are the ones expected to dress differently. How ironic that MEN think they should criticize them!

as salam alycoum i dont wanna do this but i will to the best of my knowledge we are not supposed to wear makeup outside or infront of non maharam men. if you need further clarification you can check out the youtube channel onewaytoparadise or seek the advice of a sheikh, alim or from you local mosque may Allah guide all of us to understanding Islam especially when we are passing advice to other muslimahs we should be certain that is allowed according the Quran and Sunnah thx n good day
