@esezate1 It didnt kill metal, man. Metal still lives on in its proper place: underground. Thats for us true metal fans. We dont need radio play or commercialism to survive.

It was sad when metal "died" but it needed to happen or we wouldnt have had such fond memories of this era. Kurt did the metal world a favor, actually.

I do agree with you that today's music is completely soulless. Gone are the days of the guitar solo. Its all power chords and eyeliner

ICON - A band that never achieved the commcercial success they deserved. They suffered the 2nd tier status of bands like Helix, Amored Saint, and Manowar. With the right management and production, these guys could have been alot bigger than they were.

Awesome band . . . very talented. Should have mad it big. No matter what type of music I listen to, I always come back to metal in the end. One thing about all of these 90's metal bands, most were very talented musicians and singers.
