  • 3:44 . why you didnt use sandbox tool ?. but nice technics !! check my 3d BMW E60 Tutorial ! mabye it helps to !

  • @CaljuCotcas

I didn't know such tools existed at the time, although I do prefer to do it myself still

  • @RogueAutomotive, Ok, thanks! :D

  • Sadly I have Sketchup 8..

  • @Deroppo Its essentially the exact same program, no differences in the modelling process or the basic UI. The same things can be done.

  • how can i set the template

  • @kimi450 I have another video detailing that here: watch?v=CkmnICiHDU0

  • @RogueAutomotive thanks but i dont need it now. I wont do it

  • great tutorial!!! it shows you easily how to get things done and the realism looks great on this tutorial

  • i dont get the part where u are meshing, what tool are u using besides move tool, also when filling the caps with faces i dont get squares like u, could u telle me whats wrong. Thanks

  • @intsfanatic Use the line tool, the tool that looks like a pencil. That allows you to create polygons, some just happen to work as squares but most of the time you have to use triangles if the mesh isn't quite aligned. If you just look at the mesh it should be quite easy to understand, there's nothing special about it, just create a surface with triangles using the line tool.

  • Is this a PRO version ?

  • @GAEB4813 No, but both Pro and free have the same modeling abilities

  • That`s called a discretization of a curve... Maths are amazing

  • its like drawing in perspective

  • If this is an outdated way, then can you please tell me what is the new or latest way. Please tell me and any link would be helpful. Thankyou

  • It's not really that out of date, it's just the method can be improved on with practice and experience.

  • Nice

  • eah...my mistake..thanks man ;}

  • GOOD...u're the best man...and what's the name of the plugin from 4:20...

  • ...Its called the move tool, it isnt a plug-in, its a standard tool.

  • rarf2142...i'm using 3ds max... i don't work whit sketchup....so don't tell me i'm stupid....

  • lol, stupid ;)

  • hey ma nice vid but were do u get ur blue prints??

  • Thnx dude... i watched 10000000000 videos of how to make models out of blueprints and all the methods were crap.. most of them couldn't make some crucial curbes and others required that you build all the details with your experienced eye.. but this method actually is accurate and it's very hard to make mistakes THNX AGAIN!!!!!!!

  • Al good!

  • how do u upload blueprints????????????

  • r u dumb or on crack or have to much coronas last night or just have to much hot pocket

  • sorry i was only asking a question dumass

  • go to file then import is that simple ^^

  • That explains what I was doing wrong, lol. Thanks.

  • It refuses to let me insert blueprints. Do you have to save them as sketchup models?

  • It depends on the image format. SU6 accepts: .jpg, .png, .tif, .tga, .bmp.

SU7 accepts: .jpg, .png, .psd, .tif, .tga, .bmp.

If dragging and dropping the images into the SU window doesnt let them in (I had this problem when my firewall decided SU6 might be a threat) Go to; File> Import and then select the import format. You can also change import options to the right of the drop down menu.

  • Im guessing your talking about the smooth tool. Use your cursor to click and drag to select the mesh and then right click and smooth.

  • how the hell do u insert them

  • Drag an image file into the sketchup window.

  • k thanks

  • blueprints does help me

  • what car blueprints did you use and what website did you get it from

  • Well how do you make the F_cking blue prints

  • Well, you can find ones you want on the internet or draw up your own. Oten it is easyer to find the ones you want if you havn't the skill to draw them.

  • but could you posibly tell me a site that you can get them off of.pleaze=D

  • Great man! it's very hard with all those lines. but it's worth it!
