Hey.. What's really up with the Denon 5500..? I've heard more bad things about it than good things.. It's a shame, because i really like what i see and i'm interested in purchasing it, but so many people have given them TERRIBLE reviews.. Please give me your opinion..

@poppalarge68 Never had any issues with it at all. I was using one deck to control two sides on VDJ so you mixing can be tricky since you have to switch layers. I will say it is heavy and recommend two to make mixing easier. Some people don't like it because the platter is small but I have three other dj buddies that like the 5500. The platter is real responsive some djs don't like it because they prefer the larger technics with serato. I've use the 5500 at many gigs no issues hope this helps.
