  • this is actually a good endeavour and he really does make people understand concepts, but IMO if you just concentrate a lot and read the textbook, you'll understand it in 3x the time.. this is kinda like spoonfeeding.. still, it's really helpful :)

  • This bunch of videos are by far the worst I've seen from khanacademy. I used to depend on these, this one is so confusing and he keeps cutting. What a disappointment.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe Intuition behind what it takes to make something travel in a circle after you give this

  • I Love The Video Intuition behind what it takes to make something travel in a circle It Can Increase My Knowledge

  • Steady I Really Like This Video Intuition behind what it takes to make something travel in a circle

  • 46/46 on my physics exam. I accredit my understanding of physics to Khan Academy. Thank you so much Sal.

  • how i wish you were my actual physics teacher! i learn so much more in here and it's so much easier to understand! i felt like i was going to fail my test on this tomorrow but this has given me enough confidence to pass my psycho teacher's test with at least a c!

  • Rofl got 21/20 on my physics quiz on projectile motion, you're a great teacher!

  • "I learned more in ten minutes of khanacademy than I did in seven hours of lecturing."

(You can use this as a testimonial for your all your advertising desires)

  • Color changing is out of the scope of this lecture...that's fucking brilliant

  • so... you went into great detail about how you only have to have fire for a short amount of time but... what about the fact that there's no oxygen in the void of space...?

  • lol 2:42 - 2:47 sounds so wrong, your sex component shrinks a bit because it's tilted

  • @smkdlian 'more y less sex' lool

  • @schmiigle LOL cracks me up all the time..

  • Khan academy, you are truly the best teacher in the world. Is there anything you don't know?

  • dat hand

  • Thank you

  • 4 People that viewed this video were Physics Teachers.

  • @NothingAtAllXD you are so right!!! haha.

  • @NothingAtAllXD That do not want their students skipping class to learn from Harvard prof. HAHA

  • kewl

  • 8:00 UBISOFT LOGO!!!! made the physics way :3

  • This reminds me of Apollo 13, where they were gonna slingshot the spaceship around the moon.

    so. cool.

  • You're awesome. Thank you!

  • love this shit

  • :*

  • Thankk you so much! I wish u were my teacher :)

  • I am amazed by how much of a concrete understanding you give! You are saving my ass man!

  • khan, you are the man! you helped me pass calc2 this summer, and i cant tell you how happy i am to see you do physic too!

  • ur my hero!

  • verrrrrry good video very well explained thanks!

  • thank you for your great lesson, i'm going to use this lesson in the university where i teach. by the way what is the tool you use for drawing ?

  • Your videos are great because 1.you explain really clearly going straight on the point 2.The presentation us awesome 3.You know how to summraize! ......

Anyway, thank you Sal and keep going! Translate these videos so the entire world can benefit from those!

  • spaceship..

    awesome..

not only can you teach really well, the diagrams are almost as good

looking forward to your guidance in my mathematical courses :)

  • man ..! ur the best..this is actually my report yah know, and idont understand it by just mere reading it in internet..

and i am So thankful for the video ... i will be able to report it well ..;)

  • I LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE THIS VIDEO!

  • I think the reason why fire keeps coming out of the spaceship in those science fiction movies is to create gravity. Because according to the general theory of relativity, gravity and acceleration are basically the same thing. This is why the people in the spaceship are walking as if there's gravity. It is because they are creating gravity by accelerating (possibly 9.8 m/s^2).

  • Thanks so much for simplifying physics! your videos have really helped me to actually understand the concepts rather than memorizing equations.

  • force does not equal acceleration. The force would be the tension force from the string attached to the rock.

  • force = acceleration

  • f=ma or f=m(v^2/r)

  • I have a hard time understanding what the "force" that pulls the ball to the center is. Is it a force or acceleration :S

  • but that's my spaceship...

    thanks as always

  • FINALLY !!!!!!! now I see )))) woooooha !!!

  • sorry if im being gross but at 2:54 you said : More why, and less sex. hehe im so immature. Thanks for the help tho

  • @brendrt451 he said "more 'y' and less 'x'". Funny misunderstanding, though :)

  • this is great - thanks so much for all the help! :)

  • thank you

  • No reason at all to complain on "how fast" or "how slow" this is going.

Different from class room, you have the control on the playback. You can always fast forward if you already get it, and you can always rewind in case you've missed something.

Maybe you didn't figure out that youtube has this bar, where you can control the playback.

  • great work, thanks!!

  • sorry i accidentally rated you a one star...i meant to hit the pause button. its definitely not a one star video id give you 5 but i cant anymore.

  • again and again i come back to Khan Academy, you deserve an award for sharing these videos!

  • im learning physics on my own for fun, and being a visual learner this diagram helps me understand one segment after reading the material thanks man

  • this is great man. my physics teacher actually introduced it to me.....this guy gave a good tutorial 5/5

  • Well, if it's to slow for you then, too bad, you might be too smart.(sarcasm)

But for dumbfucks like us, his explanations are at perfect pace.

  • all you guys that insult this guy cause in you opinion his going to slow fuck youse all his videos are excellent and he exaplins the intuition which is the most important part you stupid faggots

  • Excellent job man! Keep going!

  • I completely disagree. He does a wonderful job. Don't project your frustration with physics onto him. If it's frustrating don't watch it. His pace and explanations are terrific.

  • Download the stream and fast forward it. It's pretty concise really, and a lot more interesting than sitting through a lecture where you understand most things, then lose track for one second and find the lecturer is speaking purely in ancient Greek for the rest of the lecture.

  • I agree with u so much xD

  • thanks, very helpful

  • thank you guy

  • helpful indeed.........

  • great video ever!!!

  • super.. we need part 2 :(

  • good vid
