Guys, please explain what happend to me. so i get this random thing that pops up saying vista security. every 5 seconds. every time i went on any file or even intenet explorer it said it was infested with random viruses. everything!! i never remember installing vista security. one day i wake up and its gone!

Yeah, And similar Rogue Anti-Spyware programs are for example: Malwarebell, Virusburst, Antivirus 2008 and 2009 (Yeah dude, it's true), Virusheat, Spysoldier, Hijackthis (Yeah that's true too, Believe it or not). I never download anything that looks or sounds suspicious.

Hehe, I don't think he's risking his computer to show what the virus does.. in any case all computer geeks would have a spare computer that isn't really used for anything and simply use that for the show, and then make a kind little format :>

actually, no he dosnt. Its a virtual machine and is just a free program that lets you run windows XP and others. Search "virtual machine" and ull get tons of stuff. Your welcome

@sancar22 It could be a virtual machine or a test PC. I bet they rarely ever use the infected computer and it's most likely on a different network than the rest of the computers. That's the way most virus research works.
