You can decide which sustain board is bad if you have an IR meter. After TV is on for 10 minutes, whichever board is 90 degrees or less, is the one to be replaced. The heat sinks on the sustain boards normally run at about 140 degrees F.
I just fixed one like this. Replace the y-main board. If the picture is blurred or there are lines running horizontally after replacing the y-main, then replace the upper and lower buffer boards. Hope this helps/
