Honestly i don`t know why NASA crash into a shadow were there were major visibility issues, it should have crash into the light. look!!! at 1:24 something crosses right in the middle of the screen???. ok as i was saying, 80 million dollars that`s a lot!. i love NASA and the universe, but it was and is a lot of money for almost nothing at all. maybe some scientific data. And i also think NASA is up to something with 80m involve,THERE IS MORE BEHIND TO ALL THIS THAN A SINGLE IMPACT. Moon wins!!!
@PR0Finder 80 million is really nothing when you take into account how much of the total budget it actually is. Their trying to see if there is water on the moon, so the place of impact is picked based on the probability of water content in that particular area. Plus they are not just watching this with a black and white camera, they are watching this with a myriad of instruments. Trust me NASA knows what they are doing they put rovers on a planet 34 million to 250 million miles away.
they crash it there because this is the south pole of the moon i beleive more chance of being water there ^_^
