the naacp is disgusting, playing the race card at every turn. crying out if a black person is looked at the wrong way by a white person and trying to ruin their life. meanwhile turning a blind eye to all the violence blacks commit against each other and people of other races in america on a daily basis car jacking, robbing, murdering...just watch the news, or the first 48....no one wants to talk about that or is able to without someone crying racism. If you would watch them, you would know that's not true. Although, the NAACP awards started out that way, it is now a celebration of the achievements of people of color and minorities (i.e. black, Latin community, Asian, Native American and so on. There are also white people there--not only as guest. They get nominated and win awards, too. It's a lot more diverse than the larger award shows. They usually open with a salute to all the people of different races and ethnicities, too.
