Alot of cultural differences come from ignorance. My own father denies that our own cuture has been influenced by african culture and traditions and even when I try to educate him he looks at me like I'm crazy and says I have no idea what I'm talking about. I can only imagine how hard it is to make jokes about a race or culture which might be inpolitically incorrect...but it is reality to those that can relate.
