They are lovely dogs! I believe if you're going to have one, a rescue dog is the best kind. But I also have to say that I LOVE your floors. Beautiful. :)
Hey there...to answer you ?s. I felt my hound came into my life for many reason...hence the name Kismet... means fate... meant to be!
My little black dog was named Dasha from the center I got her. She was so banged up and in such a world of hurt..I kept calling her my poor little booboo baby. So I put the two name together and she became my dasha booboo!
Dasha Booboo? Is that the name? You're so wonderful to rescue him. I don't understand people that beat their dogs. Why have a pet if you're only going to abuse it? The basset hound is gorgeous. I love hounds!
PUPPIES!!!!!! I LOVE dogs! Thats SO great of you to rescue them. My Twinky is a mill rescue. We got him from Small Paws Rescue which is a Bichon Frise Rescue organization. His mama was from a puppy mill and had the splayed feet from living in wire cages.
What a great thing you did for rescuing them!!! They are so lucky but I'm sure you know WE are the lucky ones for having them :-)
They are so sweet JoJo! I love it that you rescued them both from such dire circumstances. I am now working with rescued animals, but processing applications of those wanting to adopt them.. It has been very rewarding to be able to find them good homes.. Yours look very happy!

My cats Marley and Aunty Fudge were both rescue cats and then Marley gave birth to her 5 kittens and we re-homed 4 of them and kept Olly so that's how i ended up with my 3 rescue cats
Oh, what lovely dogs! Don't get me started on puppy mills! We think that Meeka may have come from one of those. Her first owners did not purchase her here in our city. No other info though.
