  • @MsKelliGIzaStar good movie haha

  • @MsKelliGIzaStar this record :D

  • EVERYTHING THE TEMPTATIOJNS MADE WAS A HIT!!! It was an era where a vinyl album was so chocked full of hits that every song was incredible. Unlike today where there may be only one good song on a CD and the rest of the songs are garbage. The music was original, the arrangements were creative, and the singers had genuine talent. How many of today's artist can make that claim?

  • @Twinkles5927 True words indeed, mate.

  • Smokey writteng the verses, Funk Brothers on the Track, The Temps bringing it...It gets no better

  • How was this not a hit?

  • @thatswhatdeacsaid Every time I hear this I think the same thing!!!!!!!

  • @awarren92 Infinte times 100% agree with you ^_^

  • @thatswhatdeacsaid That's the kind of level they were on. We think this a hit today, they had even better jams back then. lol

  • @ColorOrStateOfMind No, people needed to get their ears checked at that time this should have easily been a hit!..I think it wasn't cuz maybe people were happy in their relationships or something so it was no need for it ^_^ but in reality it was good and should've been a hit!..

  • @Jeiygo Well it was the people from then that decided this song was not good enough to be a hit. And I'm pretty sure it was because there were tons of other songs to judge this one by. We're thinking this is a hit, but back then, the listeners had plenty of other songs that were even better. And going off your "people were happy" theory, you should look at the top R&B billboards from 1963. I know there were some conflict love music back then. lol

  • @Jeiygo lol... oh no... I wasn't talking about race. haha. I worded that a little unclear. I was saying what it sounded like you said that people were "happy in their relationships or something so it was no need for it," you were joking, but I have a habit of answering seriously when I know that. Horrible online sarcasm. : )

  • @thatswhatdeacsaid i don't think it became popular until after paul died

  • @dahotness408 that was the same way i felt about this song when i found out some years ago.

  • in the temps' biopic, they said when they released this song, it wasnt a hit. i could never imagine why the hell not

  • Okay paul just blew me the hell away I love this song.

  • My fave BY FAR!!!

  • awsome

  • This is an AMAZING song! Only the master Paul Williams could sing a song like this.

  • This song reminds me of the good old days at Roosevelt Park, off Florence ave. in South Central L.A ...when it was still legal to cruise around in low riders. F13

  • SSSHHHYTTTTT WATCH OUT

  • THE MIGHTY TEMPTATIONS...MIGHTY MOTOWN..LET THE MUSIC PLAY ON...

  • I must say it again Five Tall Drinks Of Water that could blow In my day (Blow meant you could really sing)

  • Don't make em like this anymore. Thanks!

  • This is one of their best. The musical accompaniment is awesome; LOVE that piano!

  • Man, I wanna know where the 4 people are who can dislike this. They need to have their hearing checked.

  • The great Temptations...

  • This song didnt make the charts!? What!? This is my favorite song. I love Paul Williams!

  • @srhodes1108 I know; I bet them folks think twice on that now. Paul tore that song off the hinges there. He was a true baritone and is really missed.

  • is there any surviving members? they were truly gifted artists. there music is timeless.

  • @ElizaBessss yes Otis is still alive

  • this songs is so original, true, simple, soulful, and its not complicated. i love this song. to bad my generation musicians are to tough for words like these. i always catch my self listening and like more music from the past then today. im only 25, and thats weird to me. then again, i have been called weird my whole life :)

  • @disk987camal You're not weird...on the contrary you have good taste.

  • Comment removed

  • it's too bad this song didn't make the charts this is a great song and i would love to record this

  • @Vintageappliguy I have been loving motown know since i was about 12. And as i got older i start listening to older and older sonngs and i found my self to really enjoy them.

  • I may be only 18 but i wish music these days was like the music in the late 50's and all the 60's. I would have loved to go to concerts. But the temptations are one of my favorite groups

  • @Apple12845 I could not agree with you more about music today....and I must say I think it is really cool that someone your age is into this music too..I have loved early Motown as well as early rock n roll since I was a little younger than you are (I am currently 35) and I applaud you on your good taste in music

  • I love this song...such a smooth voice. I had to hunt for this one..thanks for posting.

  • It don't get no better than this...

  • 3 people are autotuned

  • This song sound so sensual.

  • F the 3 people who had a love they could not see because love is blind Ray Was blind all his life and he has children and married with a wife and kids in the since its 100% true "He had a love he could see" not with his eyes but with his hands and feelings...

  • SANG PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @tamcar04 The Boys were smooth with alot of charisma. I learned to Cha Cha to this song with my Sisters and Cousins.....The Originals Liove On....Go Tempts...I'm a "Tempting Temp" forever

  • they have to be the best there was best there has been best there ever will be music to day sux godbless motown everyone involed thank you for posting beatles can not come no were near these men beatles over made cause they white and british call me prejuduc but i am white and beatles suk

  • In an interview 7 or 8 years ago, both Berry Gordy and Smokey said this is the one song that they are still baffled about. They said it should have been a huge hit. They blamed marketing and A&R. Gordy said "I want a Love I Can See is one of the best songs ever." They both agreed that Paul was the best of all the Tempts vocally and that his performance on all of the early releases blew their minds at Motown. I was not familiar with this song at that time; now I see what they were talking about!

  • @dienglee Yes...I agree. Best of all I heard in the 60's and I was there! I don't get it. This one should have been a number 1 hit for all time! Must have been a politics thing at Gordy. We still have it now to enjoy...and I do! I just wish for Paul- that it could have been what it should have been in his lifetime! WELL, thank you anyway, Paul...and God bless.......

  • @dienglee I agree. I am 50 yeras old. This is my favorite temp song. I listen to it all the time.

  • think bout u everytime i hear this song baby!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG, BRINGS BACK ALOT OF FUN!! MEMORIES.. DOING THE CHA CHA..

  • this is the jam right here ;)

  • the black beatles :))

  • @cynthia42096 lol they was round way before beatles...beatles may the white temptations ;)

  • @Caveman1006 makes more sense :D

  • I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS SONG!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

  • Yeah- you CAN see love in this world. This is one!

  • They don't make music like this anymore!

  • Dam this is the Jam!

  • I think the only reason paul didn't get the shine he should have is because his voice reminded me of a male-MJB. His voice is best singing heartfelt painful songs. He had that natural "tear in his voice"

  • - This video, love I can see...

    Thank You

  • The Funk Brothers made this song something special, that's for sure. : )

  • awsome song love it

  • I loved Paul! This is one of my favorite songs on this movie. Paul's voice is so great I can listen to it all day.

  • I Love Pauls painful, heartaching, soulful style of delivery actually a bit better that Ruffin's. Paul is definitely one of the 3 or 4 best barritones in music history. He is right up there with Otis Redding folks.....

  • @dienglee You are so right; dienglee he was great. He had an earthy baritone and sadly he didn't live long and when things went on, David Ruffin got the leads but this brother was beautiful.. he need more recognition..

  • I'm really sad how Paul was supposed to have died!! He was the best! He was the one who got the contract and the savay they had! My favorite farewell my love!!

  • I love Paul's voice.. him and David were my favorites!

  • this is one of my favorite songs, this is coming from a goofy white 13 year old, i listen to mowtown so much. i love good music, fuck the shit we have today.

  • @huggybobo88

Huggy lots of white kids back in the day loved soul music. Some weren't allowed to play it in their homes but those that could were big fans of soul music.

  • I love this song!!!!! This should of made it to top ten back then.

  • i love paul's voice

  • 2 people dont like the temptations....

  • PAUL WILLIAMS KILLED DIS

  • As always, the Temptations rule. They will go down in musical history as one of the GREATEST GROUPS EVER. Love the Temptations - everyone does. Thank you for this post.

  • 2 racist pricks can't tell colors (green) (red)

  • @MistaChubbz1 ??...wow

  • @EazyE275 Ah, its four now.

  • Saw this on the movie and I just loooooove it cant get enough!

  • I want a love I can feel...RIP Paul Williams

  • HEY T.T

  • every time I hear a MOTOWN artist it makes me want to go to the Hitsville Musem more and more...!!!! Ne body that came ota Motown is worth listen to.. welll not all... but most..

  • Paul sings like a across between Dennis Edwards and Levy Stubbs. "Superstar". No question.

  • i cant believe in the movie they voted if they were down to there last dollar they would by a sandwich instead of this record this is one of my favorite songs ever

  • @fresh33333 No that was for Paradise, this was an almost hit especially in Detroit.

  • Na not this song, this song was written by Smoky Robinson, I think the song you are talking about is "Paradise" which was written by Berry Gordy. That's why after that song plays Berry Gordy asks the thing about the sandwich and when everyone answers sandwich he's like... thats cold... cause he wrote the song.

  • Good Stuff. I love it!

  • this is a badass song

  • That James Jamerson Bass line is what DOES IT along with paul's soulful delivery!!

  • one idiot doesnt know the real soul

  • 1 person cant hear

  • When did this song first come out?

  • @billchew450 63'

  • 1 person iz heartless and duznt know what real music iz....

  • I grew up with alot of old people and this was the only music I usually heard
