Methinks some folks are missing the point. Kiddies, go and play elsewhere, don't forget to take your venom. I love life, I love being in it. What's to hate?
Oh this song is wonderful! The church choir I'm a part of here in Austria did some similar songs for our annual church christmas album- check it out on my channel! Thanks and have a merry christmas!
Was ein schönes Lied... Es macht es fühlt wie Weihnachten! (Kann nicht warten! !!)
This song might be written by an austrian, but austrians are also germans or germans are also austrians. We are 2 states, but one people.
Hi! I'm Elly who sings this song :) I am a Norwegian having lived in both "Länder". Observing it inside, being an "outsider", I recoginzed a slightly different in culture between Austrian and Germans though... But surely the differences is a product of two independent states... I like your thinking of seing both people as ein Volk - IF WE HAD "A world without borders" we would have a lot more "Ruhe" & peace. I enjoyed singing the song - it's a beatiful song - LOVE AND PEACE - from Elly.
"in German" ... the song was born in Germany and is a german song ... once converted into english, for those who didn't know. There are better versions
Yeah, the guys who originally wrote it played it with a banjo/guitar (I think) and an organ for their Christmas service in Germany (or Austria?). Supposedly it wasn't much of a success, but when the packing crew came in and heard them playing it after the service it brought them to tears; subsequently the song spread across the country.
On Christmas day in World War I, there was supposedly a time where the Americans began to sing Silent Night and the Germans, on the other side, heard them singing it and began to sing in German with them. The spirit of Christmas brings people together. Anyways, a beautiful song.
Sunt roman, nu este vina mea . Multumesc fratelui meu de sange pentru acest minunat cantec.Da, are dreptate 88ED88, suna mai bine in germana decat in orice alta limba ! Craciun fericit !
@c1000w Not always. O' holy night does not fit german, unless you signifagantly change the words. Jingle bells, frosty the snowman, and quite a few others. However, some christmas songs simply belong in German.
@c1000w Well you speak terrible English btw and Dutch is alot more similar to German than to English so again the preference to native languages comes in.
My cousin is way better

It's nice to hear a song with Jesus in it--Our government/drug dealers/gun runners/thieves are becoming more and more anti Christian and oppressive.

Cover your mouth with your hand
2. Make a wish into it.
3.Close your hand (make it into a fist)
4. Hold you hand(the fist) to your heart for 5 seconds.
5.Send this to 3 more videos.
