  • Probably one of my best videos.

  • Democracy doesn't work. It becomes corrupted and the people's apathy stop them from demanding and doing what it takes to end that corruption.

  • It only fails when good people do nothing. Only half of Americans show up to vote in a general election and much less for a Mid-Term election.

  • Republican evolution of defining victory: First find WMD's, then slowly it diverged to establishing a democratic government. Later it was modified to establishing peace in the region and now, I guess the acceptable solution would be keep the shit from hitting the fan on a daily basis. How bad does Iraq have to get for republicans to get the point? The war in Iraq is not working!

  • I hate to rain on you Failure Parade but if you can find the stomach to be completely objective and without bias, the war in Iraq has been and is highly successful, loss of American lives withstanding.

  • Well said...

  • Your response is approved.

  • Do to the years of alchol abuse Nick Notly the actor have holes in his brain...they show it on Bravo cable show-it was a MRI scan. the holes were golf ball size. I think Bush got holes in his brain too.

  • why doN't you run for president? you'd make a better candidate than whAt we have thus far. just give me your full naMe and i'll scribble it on the ballet.

  • If you hold an election over the weekend nobody will show up to vote, the goverment doesn't work over the weekend and goin to vote is a legal excuse to get out of work.

  • very good points, glad you are doing this again

  • Yeah let's send the leaders to the front. Send Bush to Iraq! XD. You are right though. I do think they have no idea what's going on. Then again, neither do we. Victory? You still believe in a winnable war? The field commanders should have to report and be held accountable...Remember Abu Graib? The election date is one day because it's a measurement at a specific point in time. I think people would change their vote according to the polls if they had more time.

  • they cant vote twice can they?

and isnt everyone free to change their mind after first reading about the thing they are voting for?

oh.. dont mind me.. i dont vote..

we as a world are fucked up anyways:-P

  • No, but the campaign would continue during the voting day. People who already voted could change their mind and regret their vote. People would wait until the last minute to vote. The polls would lead to "strategic voting" something you can already see in countries where there are multiple large political parties. Then again, I could be wrong...

  • The rain ...falls upon the just and the unjust alike; a thing which would not happen if I were superintending the rain's affairs. No, I would rain softly and sweetly on the just, but if I caught a sample of the unjust outdoors I would drown him. - Mark Twain, a Biography

    Rawk on m3xlc4n!

  • Military experience @ 3:38? Was that misworded? Don't you mean have no authority over the Military?

  • Excellent video John. I really liked the suggestion at the end to hold the elections over a weekend. Another great suggestion that I recently became aware of was to change the format of the ballots themselves to include an option called NOTA (None of the Above). See the organization called NOTA(dot)ORG for more information about this. Apparently they've been at it for about a decade. The wheels sure do turn slowly now, don't they?

  • Not going to vote at all is the equivalent of this gesture you mention.

  • Well, no it's really not...

  • It is too!!!

  • Did you investigate the link that I provided above before responding? If you did, then perhaps you can demonstrate the equivalence of not voting at all to the plan proposed by NOTA...

  • hang in there dude. the mccain chanel are pussies.

  • There is no confusion within the upper echelons, everything is going according to their plans.

  • I know that, but I need SOMETHING to analyze and interpret here.

  • Oh, I know, otherwise there would be crickets. Im just getting frustrated. I mean, what is it going to take? And even if everything was explained, it seems only apathy would still remain. Keep up your work. Peace.

  • Maybe it'll all change when I announce the creation of a new political party, tomorrow!

  • Hmmmm. Ok. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

  • Sorry, putting it off for a little while. Stay tuned!
