  • I did this but with the big yellow gun, it destroyed the orb but I still have to fight asha and Ive got 0 kills.

  • You can perfectly get 0 kills easily, its not even hard.

  • you can get him in one kill with the nuke while he's visible

  • @JayTheHelmetGuy ...it's been a while i know, but you said that if i equip the nuke and fire it at asha, it's a one hit kill right? Cause, i can't beat that unfair bastard. If it's not the instant laser, it's the combos he does with them that make him impossible. Like shooting a ground laser causing me to jump, then he either waits on the ground with a slash, a ground slam, or those electric mines. And i could've sworn he could dodge all nano weapons! That includes the nuke dude. I'll try it.

  • @marioman361 oops I tried it a while ago and apparently it only works with asha one

  • @JayTheHelmetGuy You are correct. My stats sucked so bad after i rebooted to make the nuke. I had two health nodes the whole way there cause my health was at like level ONE. When i got there, i used the nuke.

Not only did it NOT kill him, but the recoil from the blast sent me flying off the platform and into the electricity....which, considering the fact that i only had two health nodes, killed me instantly. Hall of fail material there. I WILL beat him though. I always have a plan. ALWAYS. >: I

  • To get 0 kills in version 1.6, you have to lay a trapmine on the portal that the Komato trooper teleports to when you are about to enter the cutscene with Dan and Asha.

You also have to avoid asha by destroying the core, which required 10 tasen and 10 komato and 10 crack. You also have to meet Ankasie, and "kill" all the assassins.

A nuke is useful for this.

You also have to hold the truce with Vatalika.

Resonance Reflecter reflects projectiles, but does not give you kils. Useful.

  • is that no OTHER way not to kill asha? cause i miss that weapon and my current kill count is 0 in sector x

  • Reboot your nanofield.

  • "Impregnable my mass"

    I saw it :U

  • So the only way to be a true pacifist is to get hold of the biggest meanest weapon you can lay your hands on. Brilliant!

  • My main problem is I can only get 3 Nanolevels in the first zone without killing anyone, which leaves the cap at the next stage at 8, and the next at 13, and so on... Any hints on maxing out Nano in stage 1? I try to absorbs rockets close-up from the blue troopers, but they only seem to want to use their machine gun...

  • Your maximum level is 5 * the current area, not 5+level you had at the end of the previous area. So you can level up to 10 at area 2 even if you weren't level 5 at the end of area 1.

  • ... Maybe it's just my game version, but that's really not how it's working on mine. In zone 2 I just can't get above level 8- It stops there with the nano bar full.

  • That's hard mode.

  • On the hardest (and second-hardest) level, you can only get 3 levels per sector.

  • In extreme you pretty much have to kill him. or you can reboot and get the weapon. But that passing that large gap of hard enemies with 4 Hp on Extreme mode might be harder than killing Asha himself...

  • Huh, I guess I'll need to do a nanofeild reboot to finish my pacifist run.

  • Yeah, Pacifist runs do have a little bit of planning to them... because nanofield reboots are only necessary when you really need to switch them out.

  • Luckily I was able to get everything I needed in order to actually complete my pacifist run... Now I just need to complete the game on higher difficulties. Not to mention get all the posters.

  • Actually, it makes your kill count a nice round 0

If you do it right, that is.

Because the general I think kills himself or is killed by some assassin, it's quite unclear.

Iosa is killed by Ansaksie, when you deactivate her nanofield.

Elite Krotera is killed by that blue tasen dude.

& anytime you "kill" an assassin, they just teleport away.

Oh, & if you set the trapmine at the teleporter at the end of that one sector, it doesn't count as a kill, if you don't, it does count.

  • Is this the only way to not kill Asha, or is there another way?

  • Aww man, I thought Asha was unavoidable :(. I ended my Pacifist run killing Asha. ((I dont know if General Tor counts))

  • He commits suicide, so no.

  • Thanks! Now I can finally finish my pacifist run.

  • So that means if I do this, I can get 1 kill total! (The sentinel counts, I think)

  • Sentinel is a machine, it doesn't count. You should get a zero kill total, unless you screw up and kill either Krotera, Iosa, or some random alien. Krotera is for breaking the truce if you mess up and touch or, godforbid, KILL someone. Iosa is for not going into Deep Sector after getting the notice from the renegade assassin in Sector 7, or having more than I believe 35 kills by Sector 7. Five or less kills in each sectors makes Iji a pacifist.

  • Funny thing is, just before I read your response, I had just beaten it in perfect pacifist. With the banana gun. I wish there was a better ending for perfect pacifist as well as finding all the ribbons.

  • Well, Daniel Remar did say there really isn't too much benefits from being a pacifist, except in 1.3 version you get a cool gun at the end to use on Tor if you get zero kills... but for the most part, the ending really isn't changed, except General Tor's view of Iji.

  • How is that a secret exactly? On my first playthrough, I figured it out right away lol (even though I went to fight Asha anyway, didn't understand it allowed me to skip the fight)

  • Crap, can anyone tell me the combination needed for that gun? I'm going for the pacifist route, and already have 8 kills (damn turrets being behind green soldiers).

  • That's the best Komato Weapon Combined with the best Tasen weapon. It's awesome.

  • what is the barbana gun? this game has soo many secrets

  • How can this be a big secret? Isn't it just a matter of getting the right stats (and the gun of course) and then using your observational powers to basically go "Hmm, this gun shoots through walls, and there are some walls in the way here alright..."

  • Well honestly, how many people would get this idea on their first time through? Well either way, it is quite something...

  • Actually, secrets are usually like that... You need to learn how to use your weapons in right places at right time.

  • Awesome.. O.o

Though, I'm curious if Krotera can be spared. though if he isn't..that means either Iosa or Tor can be spared.

Iosa seem's likely if Iji is a pacifist..since she's not completely batshit crazy from killing everyone. She'd probaby disable the sheild and do something else.

Though if you already know, don't tell me..i'd like to see for myself.

  • You know Chaz, I'd tell you, but since you vowed to find out for yourself, then alright, I won't tell you.

Although I promise you, you won't like the answer.

  • XD

Well..you -could- just let me know if Krotera is avoidable...or if you know how to do the rocket jump. LOL! XD

  • Rocket jump. Basically like this.

    X <- You

    [ <- Wall

[X <- You pointing explosive weapon at wall

[------------------X <- Iji screaming in pain as she is flung across the room by a rocket jump.

And no Krotera is not... avoidable... unlike second Asha fight.

  • Krotera is unavoidable. General Tor doesn't count as a kill (if you played the game you'd know why.) Iosa is unavoidable (I think.)

  • well if that's the case then that means Iosa is not avoidable either as the first battle with Asha isn't a "kill" either as he doesn't die.

    Nuts..oh well.

  • Yeah... too bad... no way to get the impossible 0 kills, unless some how you managed to be some crazy hacker person and skipped those fights, which I don't know... is it impossible?

  • After Recent update it's possible. Skip Krotera by having less than 5 kills per sector (or <10 kills by that point) and not attacking at all in that area, someone else will kill him for you. And for Iosa, if you're doing a pacifist run, an assassin will join you for that fight and deal the final blow.

  • Actually, I was surfing Youtube and someone went extreme pacifist-- and won the game with ZERO kills. It's possible.

  • On normal level it's not that hard ;)

  • I just did that! :D It was one of the hardest things I have ever done unfortunately I did not record it! :(

  • To Turnips5, and everyone else who wants to know:

With the recent game update, Krotera IS avoidable! If you manage to get the Tasen to make a truce with you in stage 3 and reach Krotera with the truce intact, Vateilika will kill him before he can lay a finger on you.

Iosa is still unavoidable, but if you refrain from killing the assassin in the dark area of sector 9, he will be the one who kills her when you crack her nanoshield.

  • And since that assassin kills Iosa, he'll be the one with the single kill, not you.

  • Iji feels no guilt unless she pulls the trigger herself. :P

  • Well, direct kills from the great anti-not-bullets Resonance Whatever don't count... I don't think.

    So... yeah.

  • Resonance Detonator is a kick, so it counts, and Resonance Reflector counts too, for some reason.

Stuff like letting enemies shoot you when your next to another enemy and the resulting explosion killing them doesn't count, though.
