  • i think they should use the chinese saying for the nachukus and the three section staff "borrow strength to gain strength" so i think when they hit u back u can use that power and reflect it back again thats how bruce lee did it ;D

  • @joseneid no

  • how bout I just point a 500 magnum at you?...

  • @Kaoz606 i bet u some of these guys will dodge the bullet rofl

  • The guy using the nunchuku is the afro ninja guy. The one that does a backflip and eats it

  • Audio is not in sync. Man it sucks Dick. Still I love Fight science. Re upload when you fix the audio

  • @REDSCOUT3 the audio ist out of sync they are just speakig japanese

  • @metalrocko1 retard before someones even on screen the audios done

  • But with flexible weapons you don't stop at a single strike and let it come back and hit you -.-

You keep your wide arc going to keep landing hits.

  • put all these martial artists together=Bruce Lee

  • THE ULTIMATE WEAPON........ RPG.

  • you have to fix all the parts of fight science because the sync is just terrible

  • I can beat any 6' foot bo with my 22" inch escrima stick!

  • Any bo who can't grapple or use weapons disarms. Certainly escrima is a great art, but it has to be coupled with MMA because that style of fighting will be necessary from time to time. Watch Dog brothers.

  • Escrima doesn't have to be coupled with mma, because it already has grappling and weapons disarms. If an escrimador has to revert to grappling that means he isn't very proficient in his eacrima.

  • Then its likely those have been integrated in from other arts. When it comes to being a well-rounded it doesn't hurt to train in styles that have been proven.

  • And if someone is willing to drop his weapon and try to grapple with an well trained escrimador then they are going to get slapped in the face with kamagong real fast.

  • Those bow staffs are unwieldy and break easily. A short 2foot stick made out of hard wood is much better.

  • "the tkd scream alot "

Actually the screaming serves two purposes

    1. When you scream your ab muscles clench this helps in case you are hit back while attacking.

    2. When you shout or scream you are also exhaling, this is especially important because improper breathing can wear you down very quickly.

  • @dhyleck thank you for explainin that xD

  • @NXmike. Proper breathing is crucial. Usually exhaling when you strike is the preferred breathing pattern, that or you can hold your breath and then quickly strike a flurry of blows before regaining normal breathing pattern u' ll be able to hit harder and with more precision this way ( I've tried it) but it will tire u more quickly. However its still very effective or atleast it works for me.

  • @dhyleck haha oh i knew that. i just meant thank you that way i dont have to explain it xD i started taekwondo about 9 years ago (im only 16 so im still learning but i do alright)

  • which is something fedor never does. It also helps choreograph your attacks, which can be trouble.

  • Street fighting is VERY different than ring fighting. If someone's trying to kill u he'll hit u with EXTREME PREJUDICE. That being said proper form is crucial because in a street there is no referee, there r no second chances period. However if u fight in the ring u can afford to fight with a weak form because u know that the referee will handle the rest, this is why u often have fighters stumbling into each other in the ring with poor form.

  • I've seen my share of street-fights, and most are no different from mma fights- what works in mma works on the street. That's how it was proven in the first place. And which of my comments are you responding to anyway?

  • but street fights are not always one on one if you end up grappling on the ground againist multiple oppenents your screwed

  • true, though it still may be necessary.

  • I think u misunderstood, I am not talking about mma. I am talking about fighting in the ring. When you fight in the ring u can afford to be a little lax in COMPARISON to street fights. Also even in street fights there is difference b/w someone trying to kill u and someone trying to just beat u up.

If someone is trying to really kill u, then thats a whole different kind of fighting than compared ur average street brawl.

  • The best self defense is running.

  • well if someone wants to kill u he'll probably run after u. U might as well face him.

  • Sometimes its better to fight, sometimes its better to run. Guy has gun, get in close and grapple. guy has knife, run. Not immediately, because you would look like a pansy, but once he has shown his intent. Fuck, I know some guy still fight against guys with knifes, but I don't care for injuries.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler youre obviously lying. mma is cool and alot of what you learn is usefull, but if you think your gonna fightl ike you do in a ring youwill get fucked up here

  • No I am not. Fact is most street fighters can't hold a candle to a professional MMA fighter. BJJ, just a portion of MMA, proved itself constantly in street-fights. This isn't my words vs your words, its documented evidence vs your unsubstantiated claims..

  • Ok I can respec that, but I still know you havent been in any street fights because documented evidence meens nothing when the guy ur trying to fuck up friend jumps in and kicks ur face in

  • A technique used in MMA... Certainly some things come up in street-fighting, but MMA technique is your best self defense option. Have I been in a street fight? No, but almost every old mma fighter has. Alistair Overeem got in a brawl and sent 5 bouncers to the hospital, so MMA does seem to work. Street fights and sport fights are different, but the MMA does translate to street fighting, it came from street fighting.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler however a real fight doesn't have the same rules as MMA in a life or death fight someone disiplined in krav maga would distroy an MMA fighter it's not about the art, the form, or the rules it's about making sure you walk away safe at ALL costs and the other guy has no desire (or ability) to keep fighting

  • @dmayfield2 Do they have any form of ground fighting? If not, that's a huge hole.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler yep standing, ground, unarmed vs armed combat ( including knives and guns) they have everything

  • @dmayfield2 That's good, seems like it covers all it's bases. A style that does even think about those variables(and there are plenty) is useless.

  • I've seen street fights, and with the exception of surprise attacks or fights again ten people a street fight is moreorless a MMA fight with some added possiblities. How do guys lose street fights? Strikes, chokes and slams. How do you lose a street fight? Strikes, chokes, slams and stabbing/shooting. Certainly weapons and multiple opponents add to the challenge, but the majority of the time MMA is pretty damn close to a street fight.

  • The African-american karate master and the Australian Tae Kwon Do master are friggin HOT.

    Just saying.

  • err...'kay :S

  • The Bo has counterparts in the English quarterstaff, Chinese gun, Maori taiaha (which also acts as a sword and spear), Portuguese Pau, Indian Lathi, French baton, and Korean kon bong. The spear is a universal weapon. If there is a culture, they will have a spear.

Why not talk about the rope dart, meteor hammer, chain whip, and flail?

  • they're getting there

  • chain dart is awesome "get over here' says scorpion
