hmm. i dunno. I'm familiar with the cello suites but have actually never heard a yo-yo ma rendition.
His technical facility is incredible. maybe i should just leave it at that... but i won't. It's just too rigid for me. Mischa Maisky and Heinrich Schiff are my two favorites personally, and i appreciate that they take chances.
