  • Great job! This is the most beautiful piece of music that can have an air time in a movie...It's so haunting! It creates a special atmosphere...But, unfortunately, this track is underrated and was hardly played in Pretty in Pink...

  • @lylymad This track was played as much as John Hughes wanted it played. He loved New Order, and was a huge Joy Division fan but he wanted this song played specifically for the part once Blane and her "broke up" sorta. Howie Deutch wanted an actual orchestral (Spelling.. sorry.) score but Hughes was like no no he wanted this song. Its fantastic.

  • Love it! :)

  • Nice clip and yes you are right. It was not a song that got a lot of airplay in the day. But with so much great music in those days . . . it was a difficult choice. Thanks for posting and sharing. The GOOD OLD DAYS !

  • underated song. Love the film Molly showed great confusion in this these films of the brat pack showed angst like no other.
