@zedbra - They can be very helpful for smaller helis such as the Honey Bee. They have ones with external lights which will start to flash when the pack gets low so you can see it at a greater distance.
I just got this bird. I have been flying an Axe CPV3 and find the Bee waaaay to sluggish for my tastes. The Bee is the first bird I have flown that doesn't have Bell-Hiller mixing.
hay i got 1 of these and there a great bit of kit .i use mine in my 1/10 rc car do you do any vids on charging lipos a think you will be suprised on how many people will be asking you stuff about these cheers man
That's a great hint, mate. I think I'm going to buy a LBA too. You know, this is better than using timers, because different kinds of maneuvers demand different amounts of energy as well.
Hey fabiopakk thanks for your comment. When flying my helis on timed flights, I'll just set the timer to a minimum value for the most extreme flying I can do. Usually around 5 minutes with most. (The same batt might hover for 8 minutes) That way I'm always in the "safe zone" and there's little possibility of losing the batt in flight.
I recently bought a honey bee v2 fp. My honey bee and the transmitter are not connecting at all. I first turned on the transmitter then I turned on the heli but nothing is happening all I m getting is a red and green light flashes from the 4 in 1. I waited 2-3 minutes and it is still not turning solid green and I don't know why. So can you please help me?!
It may be that your tx is not binding to your 4in1 receiver. Did it ever connect before? Is this the first time it happened? If the tx and rx aren't bound together, you will have to go through the binding process.
excellent information and this video is made in a very great way..HOWEVER..it really annoys me that I have to keep correcting people (who like these things..helo's planes) when they should know this.
A REMOTE control (plane, car..etc) has a wire/cable attached to it.
A RADIO controlled (plane, helicopter, car) DOES NOT !!!..
you guys really need to get this correct.
Please forgive me for being so technical but there is a major difference between the two.
Thanks for the comment, Mr. Spock. - Lol. If you want to take it to THAT level, technically this isn't a "helicopter" either. - Radio control, remote ... It's called a colloquialism. But hey I understand your need for technical accuracy ;)
I agree it would have been better with the shaft drive, but given that it is centered around being easy to fly for the step up from the mSR, you don't necessarily need a shaft drive for that skill level... I am living proof! The UFLY is shaft driven, but I wasn't quite ready for the responsiveness at my skill level a couple of times, lol!
It would actually be more stable and easier to fly if it had a shaft driven tail, provided they used the same programming for the tail servo as they are for the electric tail motor. If they did it could be just as docile on the responsiveness but have the extra stability of a shaft driven. - So when ya gonna get some more UFLY vids out?
I have more as soon as I have another day off and a way to safely remove the pin that holds the main gear on the UFLY in place. I am always timid about doing stuff that I haven't done before mostly because of cost and shipping time if I mess up. So, should I kill myself (lol) and get a high headspeed HBKIII or the Blade SR? I realize that I get more stability with the higher headspeed, but I love my mSR and had it flying today, and I want a bigger CP version... Grr, I hate decisions sometimes
I have been thinking about getting an LBA for my Walkera UFLY. Great video, Rob; thanks! BTW... I plan on getting the brand new Blade SR when it becomes available at my lhs. Can't wait... what do you think of the Blade SR with 2 YouTube vids out now?
Thanks for the comment Stot. The Blade SR looks like a great heli. IMO I think it would have been better with a shaft driven tail but definitely a nice design and great looking heli. Looking forward to trying one myself.
please link me where i can buy exactly the on eyou have? please
thanks

Is it OK if i just stop flying the second i see the power goes down and pushing the throttle wont help? Or is that too late? Please reply!!!
mihax209 4 months ago
@mihax209 - When the battery has been discharged that far you should stop flying and recharge.

ive got one of these on my car and everytime i accelerate the alarm goes off do you know why it could be doing that?
mechqeust 9 months ago
@mechqeust - When you accelerate hard, under high amp draw the pack voltage goes low.

@HDRcCarVideos - I believe somewhere just below 3.6V per cell. It won't let your cell(s) go below 3.0 Volts.

juroxzg3 1 year ago
@juroxzg3 - It responds fairly quicker for a FP but not as fast as a CP. It responds faster with the Super Blades XP and Super Paddles.

Is that a Bell-Hiller head mod on your bird?

No mods to the stabilizer, except for some super paddles

Did they liven up the response a lot?
