The 2nd half of this discussion was good. Not so with the 1st half. Holder's "pardon" problem is relevant only from a tactical standpoint; it has nothing to do with his philosophical views as an AG. The commentary about Obama's vote on telecom immunity is also flawed, and unconvincing. Regardless of what Obama's "advisors" may tell him, he was a professor of constitutional law for 12 years and will have a better command of the nuances of such complex legal questions than Bush ever did.

Most of the people who have gov't exp.(that have similiar political views) were in the Clinton admin. so obviously there is going to be some overlap. Our country is in need of change. Obama can't find all new people, train them, then start political movement. The U.S. problems would be overwhelming by then. The picks he has made are good at there jobs. They can get things done.
