if u get another carpet python,, get one from the western parts of australia, like a North-western (darwin).. they are much more mellow, requir less care/attention and they look really good.. (i dont know if theyre common in the US)

yea lenght is only about 2 metres maximum. depends which carpet pyhton you get tho. m southwest gets around 6 feet. coastals and centrals get a little bigger and jungles are about the same as southwests. I live in australia and the biggest ive seen yet is a coastal around 7 feet 6 inches.

Yep coastals are the biggest of the carpets, ive seen some monsters about 10ft though, 7-8ft is an average coastal.

u shouldn't hold a snake on the same day that u got it. it can stress them out which results in them being so stressed that they can't eat therefore they end up dieing(it doesn't always happen and it obviousely didn't cos i saw some of the other vids). just be warned that it can happen.

man the fact that the coastal bit you is crazy coastals are alot more tame as juvies everyone i know will say that a jungle carpet is alot more bitey as a baby i have a coastal and she doesnt bite at all

coastals get very big they average around 8 feet where as jungles average 5 feet, both of these snakes are nippy when young the coastals calm down as they mature but jungles will always be nippy but if you handle the right way i think you will be right
