  • The only problem is Osama died long before 2011

  • man i swear i thought bin laden died AFTER rooney.

  • Bad year for dictators/would-be dictators: Bin Ladin, Khadaffy, and Kim Jong-Il

  • WTF I SGOING ON HERE ON yt WHY THE f... DO WE HAVE TO LISEN TO ALL THOSE CRAP ADDS MY GOD I REALLY HATE IT

  • @lytken The ad isn't even playing for me for some reason and so the video won't play as a result of it. I've hit refresh 5 times too.

  • youll be missed old boy.

  • I will miss you Andy until be meet again Rest In Peace my friend.

  • Rooney, not Kurt.

Kurt was a poor, young dude.

  • I can tell Andy is thinking about the time he claimed Kurt Cobains death was a good thing.

    Poor old dude.

  • Did I just watch an advertisement on how to make brown gravy?

  • Look at those jowels jiggle.

  • Did Osama bring down Building 7 too?

  • is it just me, or is youtube adding more and more commercials

  • "There have only been a few times in my life when someone's death has been the occasion for rejoicing....for they exemplify the professionalism, patriotism, and unparalleled courage of those who serve our country."

The Andy Rooney Game lives on.

  • Adolf Hitler rose to quick fame in Germany as an advocate of change. He became a cult of personality, giving speeches to wildly cheering throngs as he campaigned for Chancellor. He was a leftist. He introduced and implemented nationalized health care. He employed underlings to patrol the existing media in order to find people who dared criticize him. Hmm. Sound like anyone else you see in this video?

  • @groofoot Oh yes yes indeed it sounds just like president obama!! way to crack the case you dolt.

  • Probably should have captured Bin Laden unless he already died of kidney failure in December, 2001...

  • @waltermatthewberg Shhh, don't say that....you'll confuse the sheep.

  • And thank you too Mr. Rooney for serving our country. R.I.P Sir.

  • commercials suck so bad

  • Your right Andy. Bin Ladin,Hitler, and Gadaffi deserve to be dead both were brutal dictators they murdered their own people and promoted terrorism. rest in peace my friend.

  • I'm sorry, but do you know who we're talking about? bin Laden was the mastermind behind al Queda, and in case you didn't realise, the reason 9/11 even happened. Go to the families of all the people who died that day, all the kids who lost parents, people who lost partners, mothers who lost their children, and tell them that bin Laden's death was totally meaningless and uncalled for. I can't believe you guys.

  • The death of Osama Bin Laden was a day to rejoice? Interesting. Personally I don't see a propaganda driven mob court and no defense for the accused that resulted in an extrajudicial murder as something to rejoice about. To me it just shows what a bunch of aggressive retarded cretins the American elite and their supporters are.

It shows us that whilst the US rules the world there is no freedom from tyranny, no justice and no peace.

    Disgusting warmongering and murdering pigs.

  • andy rooney is fucking amazing!!!

  • LOL "patriots". The real patriots are the ones trying to fix this country -- not inciting wars. The bullshit death of Osama Bin Laden (which has actually never been concretely proven) did absolutely nothing and changed nothing. People are so ridiculous in their sheep mentality to actually celebrate, as if the victims of 9/11 were gonna miraculously raise from the dead...pssh. Osama Bin Laden's death only made brainwashed people cling to Obama more. Simple.

  • @XSilvenX All of my classmates rejected me, claiming I hated freedom when I said the exact same things you just said. Keep on truckin', man. At least we're above this propaganda bullshit.

  • @ShadowFox37 Your classmates are brainwashed by the mainstream media, can you blame them? You know more than you're supposed to know and perhaps in a few years a lot of them will turn around and realize how mindless they were. You have to remember that during school, the need to fit in is so strong that going against the herd (sheep opinion) is a social disaster so people would rather fit in and look cool than think for themselves.

  • @XSilvenX Yeah, I agree. It was just...It was absolutely terrifying to watch (both on TV and around me at my school) people literally dancing with joy at another man's death. I mean, not only was his death totally meaningless, but I don't care WHO you are, I will not celebrate your death--only mourn that it needed to be brought about in the first place.

I watched the footage on TV and thought to myself how eerily similar it was to the videos of celebrations of the deaths of Americans.

  • Just another brainwashed old cunt. Just imagine his facial expression when he meets Osama in heaven.

  • RIP Mr Rooney!

  • lol he was still grumpy as a kid!

  • Andy Rooney

    RIP

  • Thank god this delusional government spokes man is gone. Bin Laden was a terrorist propagandist but he was Americas favorite terrorist since we had funded him through the ISI for years during the Soviet invasion. The US government allowed Bin Laden to die peacefully in his home and then they swooped in and snatched his dead body up for political points.

  • @swedishvolvo "he was Americas favorite terrorist since we had funded him through the ISI for years during the Soviet invasion."

An oft-repeated lie. Educate yourself, instead of repeating the same tired shit you've been told to believe.

"The US government allowed Bin Laden to die peacefully in his home and then they swooped in and snatched his dead body up for political points."

Prove it. I can just as easily claim your parents were Banana Slugs. Prove they weren't.

  • @slightlyoutofreach01 You need to be the one who seeks out the truth on your own. The media will feed you whatever it wants you to believe which is rarely the truth. Go online and search for "CIA – Osama bin Laden controversy" Osama was directly funded from the CIA to fight the Afgans, he was in a sense a US Government employee. I have no way of backing up my second claim but it does seem odd that no autopsy was ever performed in the US and they government never released any evidence of his

  • @swedishvolvo "Osama was directly funded from the CIA to fight the Afgans"

I'm going to just assume you meant to say "Soviets," not "Afghans." Regardless, both statements are completely false. Bin Laden was wealthy, and didn't need funding from the US or anyone else. While the US funded Afghan rebels to fight the Soviets, Bin Laden himself was pouring his own funding into the same conflict. Why would the US toss money at someone else already tossing money into the conflict? It's a complete lie.

  • @slightlyoutofreach01 of his death. Bin Laden had a failing kidney and was on dialysis for years, he needed to get advanced medical treatment. I suspect that the CIA put him up in the compound with the agreement that he will be able to live out the rest of his life under house arrest. I read news articles that said the CIA had an observation house for over a year before the raid happened. It suspicious that they would wait to long to make their move to capture him.

  • @swedishvolvo I can tell you live with your mom because you're stupid as fuck. Get and education and a job you fucking idiot.

  • @swedishvolvo "I read news articles that said the CIA had an observation house for over a year before the raid happened."

I thought the media wasn't trustworthy? The fact is, they watched the compound for maybe a month or two before organizing the operation. It took them that long to gather enough info to be confident enough that this was the site they had to hit. Getting it wrong and killing a bunch of civilians on Pakistani soil was about the worst scenario possible.

  • @ProudHumanist I did not say you were free from this, now did I? I'm an atheist as well, but your being fucking ridiculous. How about you don't say stuff like "he didn't have imaginary friends", on the interweb, 'cuz that only starts flamewars.

  • Farewell, Mr. Rooney. You have my respect, and even in this encouraging age of increasing forwardness and skepticism, a man of your honesty is something rare even among those a fraction of your age. You always made me laugh my butt off, but only in a "why didn't I think of that?" or "so true!" sort of way.

  • My late husband and I always looked forward to what he had to say. As conservatives we did not always agree, but we recognized his unique take on world happenings and loved him. The very best wishes to all of his friends and loved ones.

  • HOW ABOUT YOU ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT RELIGION! A great man died, and your all sitting at your keyboards typing up a storm about pointless stuff. What do you think he would be doing if he witnessed this?

  • @calgarmaximus

Andy would be typing "pointless stuff" (as you say).

  • @calgarmaximus He'd probably complain about it.

  • @calgarmaximus Laughing his ass off.

  • @calgarmaximus He would be sitting at his keyboard typing up a storm.................

  • @calgarmaximus make the stupidity of forums one of his topics (or at least a footnote)

  • @calgarmaximus I have no religion, but I have a faith in God. All I can say is that I'm glad the demon was sent to hell, but sad that it came at the cost of a man's life. Osama has lots of children, and I can tell you that Christians should pray for those children. Hope you didn't find this annoying or offensive, have a great day.

  • Mr Rooney, when God made you, he broke the mold....nobody could ever take your place. RIP, sir.

  • @lileeza

Andy's parents MADE him, not some skypixie.

  • @ProudHumanist Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @lileeza Mr. Rooney was made through two people having sex and was born in 1919. Rooney didn't have a mind like a following dumbass like you do. He could think for himslef. So yes he "broke the mold". Damn your fucking stupid.

  • @Furman2020 Way to get offended and unecessarily rude over nothing more than kind words for a departed American icon.

    Maybe *you're the stupid one.

  • @lileeza

    who is God

  • @lileeza Well he was an atheist but ill thump up your nice comment anyway :)

  • i can't believe that Andy Rooney has died... It really saddens me because he was one of my biggest inspirations growing up. rip

  • He sounds like a problem solver; eliminate the cause of the trouble. It is not brutal at all; we do terminate the bears and wolves that hurt the people and their livestock.

  • He looked grumpy even as a youth.

  • Andy, Thank you.

  • @Gromitdog1

You need to really do some ACCURATE research into WWII history. The Jewish people and OTHER people such as gypsies, mentally ill people and even Catholic priests and nuns were VICTIMS of Hitler and the Nazis.

  • You need to do some ACCURATE research on WWII history. The Jewish people and OTHER people such as gypsies, people with disabilities, and even Catholic priests and nuns were the VICTIMS of Hitler and the Nazis. You are very ignorant and have no idea what you are saying with this post!

  • RIP

  • 10 people are Islamic fascists!

  • R.I.P Andy! You'll be missed!

  • @waleedsuv

Not likely! Hitler and Bin Laden will earn their JUST rewards in their OWN HELL! They are EXACTLY where they belong.

  • @Ariesgal55

Maybe GW Bush will be joining them as well. He was responsible for many deaths also.

  • @ProudHumanist

President Bush is NOT a terrorist you ridiculous person! He did not order the deaths of innocent people like Bin Laden and his associates. Like I said you are ignorant and have NO IDEA what you are talking about!

  • R.I.P.

  • RIP Andy and Fuck u bin laden

  • R.I.P. Andy Rooney. I disagree with rejoicing over someone else's death, but I still had (and have) great respect for Mr. Rooney.

  • rest in peace mr. ANDY ROONEY

  • RIP

  • RIP

  • "We give thanks for the men who carried out this operation. For they exemplify the professionalism, patriotism, and unparalleled courage of those who serve our country."

  • RIP MR. ROONEY

  • RIP. One of "The Greatest Generation". Thank you!

  • RIP ANDY

  • RIP sir :(

  • Im sure he had a diff opinion about bin laden really being dead or not but being a news man he had to go the media way. Bin Laden and Ghaddafi are on a beach somewhere, smoking, and having martinis, officially retired from their roles as "evil-doers" for the dumb American public. They dont want to confuse them with too many characters, they know the American public dont like shows like that, they stop watching those..too complicated...only 2 bad guys at a time for u guys.....n korea and iran now

  • I would have to disagree that Bin Laden was in it for the power, and not for his people. He was definitely in it for his people, but using the wrong methods to achieve his goals.

  • @HolyPally4Life Right ... NOT .... but it's certainly also the argument Hitler likely gave, just before God sentenced him to Hell. Holy, you need to study human psychology, if you truly don't understand that "I'm not doing this for any personal agenda, I'm only doing this for 'my people' "is the most obvious and patently absurd of all power hungry claims. RIP Mr. Rooney - and SIH, OBL ..

  • @ElkRiverRancher2

Hitler lived in luxury, Bin Laden lived the same way his employees(in construction work) lived, he was the common man. Whether or not you want to believe that, it is the truth, he was worth hundreds of millions and lived in a very modest home and had very few luxuries.

Nothing like Hitler in that regard, different types of people, different agendas.

  • @HolyPally4Life .... and you know this, because ... oh, right. You saw Al Qaeda fed 'news reels' of the great but humble OBL in the 'dust' with his 'people/common man'. I know where there's a bridge I can sell you, Holy. In the meantime, there's nothing so egotistical as a man who uses 'the common man' to obscure his own power plays. Nevertheless, we are all, of course, free to admire those who impress us - if OBL impresses you with his 'humility and humanity', so be it. Barnam was right.

  • @ElkRiverRancher2

No, I know this because I have read several books on the subject. How many have you read?

  • @HolyPally4Life

OBL lived the same way as employees blah blah blah... and therefore he is a different person that Hitler.

Yeah, because he was a fucking retard. lol. THAT'S why he lived like his construction workers, he was too stupid to get rich. HAHAHAHAHA.

  • @CheddarBob39

Too stupid to get rich? He was born rich you moron. He lived like the common man because he DID NOT value material things like most westerners do. Simple as that.

  • Rest In Peace, Andy. You are my all-time favorite Fuddy. I will miss you and your weekly dose of Common Sense.

  • RIP Mr. Rooney.

  • I swear, people in the spot light always remain sharp their entire life. A NORMAL 92 year old is in a nursing home not being able to tell the difference between his breakfast and his grandchildren. God bless Andy you sharp old bastard :D

  • @BigSaggyCunt That's not always the case I've known quite a few elderly people who have kept their minds. I had a neighbor who lived on her own till the day she died at age 90 and another at 92. I have a great aunt still living, she's 95. Lives with her son now b/c she doesn't get around very well but her mind is still sharp and she still cooks and works on her craft projects. Drove until she was in her late 80s.

  • There was a great man. He was called a freedom fighter by Pres. Reagan. Osama Bin Ladin was name. He was the Risen Christ. He was my hero.

  • FUCK ADS

  • well that is just pointless.. nothing changed with this death. and I hope he died loong ago as many thinks ;) just fuel the money machine we call war ;)

  • There have only been a few times in Andy Rooney's life when someone's death has been the occasion for rejoicing. Ghengis Khan's death was one of those times!

  • I never agreed with the draft.... what good is a soldier who's being forced to fight against his will? And besides, during WWII they didn't even need the draft, most people were ready and willing to fight for their country.

  • I have watched you for years and will miss you! You're very wise, but also funny...a pertect way to be. God bless you, Andy Rooney.

  • PROPAGANDA anyone? Get this crap out of here CBS, lets see a legitimate news company that doesn't hold such blatantly ridiculous biases. For all you know Osama could have been a puppet or a scape goat created by the government and you could be eating all that bullshit up.

  • I know what they're tying to sell....I won't buy it

  • UYD4L

  • Cheese is one helluva fine product. I'm Andy Rooney.

  • actually it wasnt hitler per se who ruined your day but FDR--he drafted your butt & decided to get involved in europe--even when while we were "neutral". fdr: feh

  • @yurianne07 Incorrect, after Japan declared war on the United States, on December 8 1941 Germany declared war on the United States. Then FDR invited / drafted over a million men into the Military. The United States did not officially declare war on both Germany and japan until a few days later around the 10th to the 12thwhich was the earliest Congress could meet.

  • Bin Laden was a CIA patsy, and he was widely reported dead by our government and news organizations throughout the world years ago. Yet you pull out your flag and cheer based on a story that has more holes than a colander that lost a bb gun fight.

  • /watch?v=yQtXxgAAXEk My tribute to Andy Rooney. You will be missed by us all, Mr. Rooney. Have a great life.

  • He's 92 years old and still really sharp.

  • He's 92 years old and still really sharp.

  • Andy you're a World War II vet? I didn't know. You're a hero in my book.

  • @jpete3027666 Bonus: During the war, he got arrested for insisting on sitting with the black soldiers on a bus.

  • He's funny, he's crazy, that's why we'll miss Andy! Enjoy your retirement mr. rooney

  • I've always enjoyed Andy's viewpoint. He's spot on about Bin Laden, some people cannot be mourned.

  • Comment removed

  • Andy, you will be missed.

  • I can only pray to be as sharp and smart as Mr. Rooney at his age. God Bless you Sir!

  • @Vlad88667

Rooney was an atheist. He didn't have imaginary friends.

  • he's always had the eyebrows :v

  • @Xormithan They are his trademark.

  • this sunday is his last show o_o

  • Andy Rooney is really old.

  • @TheKillaCucumber20 His fingers don't look human

  • @EvolvedParadigm those are 92 year old fingers...

  • @TheKillaCucumber20 How very perceptive of you. And I would venture to say that Andy is much brighter than you or I will ever be.

  • probly sucks to be related to hitler or bin laden

  • Wise words indeed!! When evil is deatroyed we should rejoice!!!

  • andy rooney is one of the reason why i only want to live until my mid-70's

  • agreed

  • If he notices similarities with Hitler and Osama, does he notice similarities between Nazi Germany and the USA today?

  • @Jamesyb0i Such as.

  • @Jamesyb0i Only if he's beginning to suffer dementia ...

  • ur not rooney '

  • Agree 100%

  • i thought they meant Wayne Rooney :D

  • As usual, short, concise and to the point Mr. Rooney. I agree wholeheartedly.

  • fuck you rooney

  • Definitely agree...
