  • Great guitar work by May

  • where did u get this amazing video? what concert?

  • That the music is so awesome is the only reason I put up with his incredibly weird outfits. D:

  • @ArcticYoshi looks cute on him though :) only Freddie could get away with that :))

  • @ArcticYoshi But incredibly weird was the first stage of Freddie's awesomeness and then he evolved into a much more EPIC powwwaaaa. Well, Freddie looked good in practically anything. I mean, if I saw anyone else in that outfit, I wouldn't even dare watch the video. Freddie <3

  • Best wishes Freddie :) wherever You are mate....

  • Happy Birthday Freddie ! 65

  • WOTTA JAM!!!

  • Brian May: the wonderful, talented man who wrote this WICKED song. My favourite Queen member with an amazing guitar and even better hair. To this day, he keeps Queen alive alongside Roger Taylor; both deserve to be knighted for all their efforts. Brian has written some of my favourite Queen songs (this, Long Away, The Prophet's Song, Tie Your Mother Down, the list goes on).

In celebration of Dr. May's achievements, I want to wish him a very happy 64th birthday today, and may God bless him.

  • <3

  • Well this must have been a riot in the recording studio.-That all nite opera!

  • this sounds like nazareth

  • hey, you who disliked this, don't worry! we can help you, there is a medicine for you illness. its name is good music ;)

  • @thewholeuniverse your illness

  • @thewholeuniverse grammar nazzi

  • Actually, this is considered the " ugly duckling" from " A Night At The Opera"

    I think it´s a real good song...

Brian, I´m your sweet lady ;-D

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn really? I'm tempted to say it's one of the best songs on the album

  • @paintedship Yes, many people dislike it. When someone is asked to name the worst song from ANATO " Sweet Lady" comes to mind. I also think it´s a good damn song, love the riff ....

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn it's that heavy early Queen sound that I like a lot. They dropped that later :(

  • i am one of the most sweet lady.......

  • You call me up and treat me like a dog

you call me up and tear me up inside

you've got me on a lead

ooh you bring me down you shout around

you don't believe that i'm alone

    ooh you don't believe me

    Sweet lady sweet lady

  • This song is the perfect example of acquired taste in music. The first time you listen to it, it feels kinda "wait, what the fuck's going on ?" due to the 3/4 time signature (which changes in the bridge), but once you appreciate it, you just can't get enough of it.

  • @Canaveral305 yeah it's actually a waltz rhythm, kinda odd for a rockin' tune

    great tune..

  • @softchewy Hm, I wouldn't call it a waltz rhythm... I'm In Love With My Car is a waltz rhythm, for example, and it's definitively not the same as this one.

  • @Canaveral305 it is definitely a waltz rhythm, at least according to Brian May in an interview

  • This song is so good it hurts. One of their best, I'd say. But choosing a favourite Queen song is impossible, since there are so many marvelous ones.

  • One of my favorites! Masterpiece

    SWEET LADY, STAY SWEET!!!

  • Wow, great song, as always......since QUEEN IS THE BEST!!!!! Ever!!!!

    Love you, FREDDIE!!! :)

  • Good song.

Gives me memories travelling to Scotland from England.

3 hours listening to nearly all the songs Queen ever did...

  • This is one of my favourite Queen tracks. They were always brilliant at this kinds of barn-burner song. It's often overlooked, despite all their grandeur, that they were a truly arse kicking rock band.

  • Amazing as always !

  • stay sweet baby! awesome song.!

  • best song ever

  • In my opinion this is the direct forerunner to Tie Your Mother Down in terms of heavy guitars, vocal overdubs and awesomeness in general!

  • Who says Queen weren't PUNK?

  • one of my favourite queen songs from my favourite queen-album

A Night at the Opera ;)

    Way to go Brian!

  • best song

  • This is a CLASSIC!!!

  • i love the dubbing of the 2 freddies during the verse. hmmm 2 freddies

  • Haven't heard this sweetie for months..... and I have the CD! I have some catching up to do :o)

  • You call me up and treat me like a dog

You call me up and tear me up inside

You've got me on a lead

Ooh you bring me down you shout around

You don't believe that I'm alone

    Ooh you don't believe me

  • call me sweet like im some kind of cheese

  • ooooo....I like it!! Love you Freddie : )

  • Oops! I'm being dumb - this isn't the live sound, it is the studio track - what a plonker

  • Love this song, always have - one small worry, with all the backing vocals playing I'm not sure Freddie is singing any of this!

  • QUEEN'S GOT MAD SKILLZ!!!!!
