  • This guy must work for Bell Mobility Outsource division Customer Service

  • I don't like supporting a cell phone company that is owned by an Egyptian multinational that is corrupt and uses cheap labour.

  • @dexterworks .....but... ur ok with with everything else, most of which is made in china?

  • Hey hubciti. No, I am not an immigrant, nor a minority. Like I said, I find it quite funny, and most should see it as a light-humoured joke....But it is also stereotypical and some might be offended. That's all I was saying.

  • @01jengel > "Lick Rocks"

  • @01jengel

    Hey Jengel,

I am one of the people responsible for selecting the star of this ad for Wind Mobile. We looked at many actors. This gentleman just happened to be the funniest and most talented improviser of all that auditioned. You should have heard his one liners that didn't make the final edit.

  • @jonlane1981 Since you were involved in this campaign, how do you feel about ripping off our State Farm "hot dog without a bun" campaign from two years ago? We're flattered you liked it enough to rip it off almost exactly.

  • @bpcrockett I did see your hot dog ad.Although it was well after the production of our campaign. Even though both ads use the example of a hot dog cart to illustrate a point, the points are different. Our ad exaggerates the"extra fees"charged by mobile phone suppliers in canada.Your ad exaggerates the poor coverage you get from other insurance companies.

Maybe you've seen the other ads in this campaign that are nothing like the other ads in yours. A coincidence. Although our casting was better.

  • Well it's typical of East Indians. They make the stereotypical cheapskate Scot seem like Santa Claus.

  • Hey 01jengel,

After you pull your head out of your ass, wake up and smell the coffee. The REAL racist's are the one's like you who use their minority status to embellish stories like this one. Enough said, now..."Keep the bun back"

  • So to the point. Well done commercial.. well done.

  • A funny commercial but highly racist at the same time.

  • why is it racist, because of his accent?

  • @01jengel its not racist you dumbass, just because he has an accent its racist? wow learn to define racist

  • @bobchan111 Think about it. The commercial is portraying individuals of this culture with having jobs of this nature. I will admit, I think it's funny as hell, but there is definitely some stereotyping involved and it wouldn't be the same if a "white" person was used. as for your dumbass comment, it's awfully easy to talk trash over the internet isn't it....coward

  • @01jengel > Stereotyping with 1 commercial ? you are a over-sensitive, bleeding heart Liberal, Immigrant...Right ?!

  • another way to look at ancillary revenues...

  • Can't wait to get my phone frome wind it is probly the best phone company

  • shows how sneeky the jew can be. 5.50 for a hotdog? HAS to be jewish! go wind! for exposing the true sneeky side of the filthy jew.

  • @Jamiel007 Uhh he's obviously east Indian.

  • The same could be used regarding the airlines now nickel and diming you.

  • Dude thats my psychology professor, from back home!!

  • @Zugpug90 Hahaha hariss.

  • Sterio-typing Garbage to sell cheap cell phone plans...

  • LMAO!!! Rogers and Bell go to hell.

  • I love this commercial!!! <3

  • lol, this is even funnier than Russel Peters

  • Plus my time LOL

  • Damn, this new company sounds really great. To bad it's not available in my city!!

  • I hope everyone leaves Bell and Rogers in mass and never goes back. They have been gouging consumers for years and now is our time to stick it to them..especially Rogers. And don't fall for there god damn retention deals it's what they should have been offering in the first place.

  • Best commercial ever created lol

  • LMAO @ naked wiener.

  • @thanksxforxthexvenom

Should add some mayo just sayin

  • Awesome..

  • @lovebugg0121

    Your that hot dog guy

  • ahah $5.50, thats hockey game price

  • I like this commercial more than the TV ones about "monumental change". I get that it's good symbolism and all, but these ads are funnier and more relate-able than some people standing around, posing as monuments.

  • I wish I can go with WIND. But I am stupidly stuck with Rogers for 3 damn years -___-. Wind is Amazing! Rogers represents that hot dog guy.

  • LOL i LUVV this commerical!!!

  • Like in everything in life.. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

  • I have wind. It rocks.

    Brampton FTW.

  • Saskatchewan please, rogers got everyone in chains here!

  • Comment removed

  • sorry but the plans you have are **** ...I have been with one of the other guys for 10 + years and I think I will stick with them for rest of my life ....

  • Rogers"Your call may be monitored for quality asurance"

Once I asked if they have quality problems

  • I wish wind would provide land line phone. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my home phone and just having

wind cellular at home. 37 dollars with bell and all I have is call display and crapy customer service.

  • Unfortunately, land lines are expensive to set up, especially if there is already a lot of infrastructure in place. It means having to dig up the area to set up the landlines. With wireless, you just have to set up cellular towers.

$37 is way too much for basic service. You should call to threaten to cancel and see if they'll reduce your rates. If they don't, Wind may be a better option. Quite a few people switch from land line to cellular for convenience, so the threat is realistic.

  • based on the cell phone carriers available in Canada, I say ROCK ON WIND!

  • I want them to come to kitchener!!

    or cambridge, or waterloo! :D

  • That hotdog salesman sounds exactly like the rude rogers sales associate i enountered. I told her that WIND was coming and that they have the opportunity to retain my business by renegotiating my contract that was about to expire. She said that WIND will not be coming to Canada and that my offer was absurd. Funny thing...my offer is exactly what WIND actually offered. To Rogers....I will never do business with you EVER. You are finished.

  • Wind Mobile can be found in Toronto Blockbuster outlets. Right between the Deuce Bigalow box set and Striptease directors cut DVD. What about late fees?

  • Booo!

  • Uh Oh...the ad company that made this video deleted my previous comment. So much for listening to customers. I guess that was another meaningless slogan from a telco.

  • i work for rogers and i fucking HATE them

  • genius.

  • Really good commercial.

  • I THINK I saw this on a Bell commercial .. "If I put the real price, I wouldn't get any customers."

  • This is very Funny. There's lots of street meat in Toronto. Yum yum

  • This should be Bell and Roger's official training video.

  • why?

  • Comment removed

  • CRTC must approve wind mobile

  • "the buck is just the naked wiener"

    lmfao

  • The "hot dog plan" should be compulsory viewing for all Bell execs.

  • They say the best comedy comes from tragedy; That's why this is so funny... because sadly, for us Candians, it's a completely accurate portrayal of the big 3 current cellphone companies.

Can't wait for the Wind launch!

  • it's so true, i hope Rogers/Fido, Telus, Bell's executives are watching this video!

  • @iamfob....they likely are. I dont think they have an actino plan though. They have very bad pr. The only way I´d do business with them again is if they offered a no fee plan with unlimited incoming and out going plan and a blow job.

  • If only cell phone companies were this up front. This is what actually happens:

"Our hot dog plan gets you a certain amount of hot dog at some price all month, but it's done by weight, so to keep track you have to weigh them yourselves. If you eat less than you bought, we keep the rest of the hot dogs. If you eat more, the rate goes up by ten times. We'll keep track but won't tell you until the month is up.

    Enjoy!"

  • Nice work, and great perspective on these fees.

  • that got a good chuckle out of me. Its so true though.

  • that's well done.

    and true.

  • haha so funny and yet...SO TRUE.
