Thanks for your concern as to it being a dangerouse place to fish. There should be Warning signs in Polish. German. French. Lithuanian. I have had the pleasure of fishing with them all at Culoo Rock.....
it is a dangerous place to fish as the exact spot where guy with rod is, is spot my father lost his life.. but besides that it is one of the best fishing spots on the island!
the holy shrine is good on couloo rock, its hard to find, but yet signposted, it is a few marys and an enamel mug (chipped) in peat water that does nort look to healthy to drink.
i was waiting for father ted to crop up behind me :-)
the fishing is superb, watch out for the big waves and be careful when fishing, you cant catch fish if your in the drink.....
